AMY WINEHOUSE AND MISCHA BARTON DON’T HAVE THAT MUCH IN COMMON

Much was made of the fact that Amy Winehouse ran into MIscha Barton at the popular Camden hangout The Hawley Arms the other night. The girls were observed having a drink of some kind together – although Mischa says she has given up alcohol. They both love to party, but somehow we can’t imagine these two becoming best buddies. Above they were photographed when they left – Mischa left early and was carrying a container of guacamole, and Amy didn’t get home until 11:30 A.M.

Mischa Barton is hurting for cash so she’s quietly selling off her designer wardrobe at various LA consignment boutiques. A friend of hers figures that Mischa’s clothing collection is worth well over a million dollars: couture gowns, vintage jeans, designer handbags, and shoes. Mischa has so much stuff that she converted her home’s guest house into a 1500 sq ft closet! Now that she’s selling her house, she probably won’t have room for so many clothes, so she has no choice but to get rid of them.

Mischa Barton is a tricky little number. Last night she arrived at Trousdale wearing a dark jacket with a lace collar. Later she walked OUT wearing a salmon pink long coat. Did she trade jackets with somebody? Is anyone missing a salmon coat?

We keep hearing that Mischa Barton looks like she’s “out of it” and a friend ran into her the other day at the Beverly Glen center, living up to her reputation. According to our witness, Mischa looked “bloated and dirty – like a homeless person!” Even her car looked neglected. She was wandering around with her two beloved dogs and actually handed over their leashes to a total stranger and asked the man if he would hold them so she could go into Starbucks! The bewildered guy obediently stood and held the dogs until she drifted back.

It looks like Mischa Barton is STARTING OVER with a new look. She walked into the Beverly Hills’ Byron & Tracey Salon a brunette with long hair extensions, and walked out a blonde with long extensions. And she’s got CLEAVAGE – which is unusual for her. Her two dogs waited patiently in the shop for HOURS while she was transformed. Most likely, she’s got the new look for her drama “Upstate” with Chace Crawford, which is currently in production.

Mischa Barton doesn’t look terribly distressed over the cancellation of “The Beautiful Life” (the remaining episodes will air but no new shows have been ordered.) However, she does look DIFFERENT than she did on the series. We’re not sure this is a flattering hair color – maybe we just need time to get used to it. . It’s rumored that she‘ll be starring in a movie “Upstate” with Chace Crawford, so all is not lost.

"The Beautiful Life" Cancelled Mischa Barton

MISCHA BARTON DIDN’T SUSPECT HER DAYS WERE NUMBERED

Little did Mischa Barton suspect, as she walked to the set of her series “The Beautiful Life” to get her hair and makeup done, that this would be one of the last times she’d be reporting for work. After the show drew a dismal audience of a million viewers on Wednesday, the CW decided to cut their losses and cancelled the show. (We found it corny and so predictable is was embarrassing.) So far there are no plans to air remaining completed episodes. Too bad- we have a feeling Mischa really needed this job.

LINDSAY LOHAN IS MORE THAN WILLING TO STEP INTO MISCHA BARTON’S SHOES

Mischa Barton might be surprised to hear what her so-called friend Lindsay Lohan has been up to behind her back. Mischa’s recent hospitalization had her role on CW’s new show The Beautiful Life in jeopardy. Lindsay supposedly was very supportive of Mischa’s recovery, but at the same time she was jockeying to replace Mischa on the series! Lindsay didn’t try to sabotage Mischa’s job, but she DID let producers know she was very interested in the role if they recast it. So Far, Mischa seems to be doing fine.

This photo of Mischa Barton in this unflattering dress is circulating everywhere, simply because it’s so tasteless. Many observers have advised Mischa to “fire her stylist,” but she can’t do that, because she doesn’t HAVE a stylist and never has. She can’t blame anyone else. Mischa is responsible for picking out all her own clothes and she has often bragged about that. But she’s not bragging now.

MISCHA BARTON LOOKS LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED

Producer Ashton Kutcher must have been relieved when Mischa Barton reported for work this week on his CW show “This Beautiful Life” in New York. Mischa stars in the series which features a group of young models living together in New York. It was touch and go for awhile when Mischa was hospitalized under psychiatric observation. Her friends wondered is Mischa could pull herself together fast enough for this work opportunity, but apparently she did. She was photographed smoking a cigarette in Soho and looks much improved.
