No WONDER Mischa Barton has been away from Hollywood so long! The sometimes troubled actress (most famous for “The O.C.“) has finally found success in the UK with the opening of her new namesake store. Mischa has been designing handbags since 2008, and sold her clothing collection online at Mischa’s Place. Now she’s got a brick and mortar store in a hip neighborhood in London and she couldn’t be more excited. But she hasn’t given up acting – she has several horror/thriller movies coming out this year and in the fall she’s set to appear in an Irish stage production of “Steel Magnolias.”

Mischa (The O.C.) has launched a new shopping website called Mischa’s Place where you can buy her “Bohemian style“ clothing, handbags, accessories, and beauty products that she created along with her mother Nuala. She had a number of successful fashion endorsements in Europe and Keds in the US, before introducing her own collections. Now 26, she describes herself as an “actress and designer.”

Lindsay Lohan got a job modeling in ads for German Designer Philipp Plein, and the photos just came out. Phillipp was using Mischa Barton as his model until September 2011, when he was seen keeping company with Lindsay in Italy for Milan Fashion Week. Now Lindsay has replaced Mischa!

It’s hard to believe she’s only 25. She finished a horror movie called “The Sibling” with Michael Clark Duncan and also did a Lifetime TV movie “Offline” for 2012.
