Madonna was married to Sean Penn for four years in the late 80’swhen he was at his Bad Boy worst. He was drinking heavily, getting into fights, and lost his driver’s license. One horrible Thanksgiving weekend he supposedly tied Madonna to a chair (“trussed her up like a turkey”) and tormented her for hours – including threatening to stick her head in the oven. She filed for divorce, but a few years later they made up and she started speaking to him again. Madonna might have some great advice tor Charlize about what to expect and how to handle Sean. Meanwhile Charlize seems to be picking up Sean’s bad habits – specifically his sour disposition.

Arianne Phillips did a brilliant job on the 1940’s naughty pinup styling. We especially love the runs in Madonna’s silky black stocking. Madonna often uses a cigarette to give herself a harder edge.

Madonna is in West Hollywood and she could be coming to a gym near you! Madonna, 55, not only keeps up with her young dancers but she pushes them to exercise MORE. She’s hiding under her dark hoody as the sweaty group leaves a rigorous Soul Cycle class. But Madonna’s not finished – she took them all to a Pilates studio for more working out.

No, she’s not starring in a remake of “Klute,” Madonna is becoming a fitness queen and opening a chain of gyms. Like Jane, Madonna is acquiring fitness routines from professionals who have taught her, and introducing the new techniques in special classes in her own Hard Candy fitness centers, which incidentally feature many large photos of her. Instead of “feeling the burn” Madonna’s followers will become “Addicted to Sweat.” Madonna’s ATS classes consist of cardio and dancing with the use of equipment – and great music, of course. Can a line of exercise apparel be far behind? (Above, Madonna caused a mini-riot at the opening of her Toronto club but she couldn’t exercise due to an injured ankle.)

It’s only been a few months since Madonna and her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat split up, but she’s already keeping company with a potential replacement. According to RadarOnline, Madonna, 55, showed off her latest hunk, Dutch born Timor Steffens, 26, on New Year’s eve at designer Valentino’s party in Gstaad. Timor looks like a bigger, better version of Brahim! And he’s an accomplished dancer too. Timor has been one of Madonna’s backup dancers – the same way Brahim started out. He’s a luscious combination of Moroccan, Native American, and German. Madonna reportedly looked happy as a clam in his company over the holidays. And apparently her kids like him too.

MADONNA’S “MATERIAL GIRL” MODEL RITA ORA PASSED OUT AT PHOTO SHOOT

English singer Rita Ora, the new spokesperson for Madonna’s “Material Girl” fashion collection, was modeling for the new ad campaign when she passed out. It was 90 degrees in the shade where they were shooting photos on Ocean Drive in Miami. Rita appeared queasy and was holding on to a vintage car for dear life before she was helped from the set into her trailer. She didn’t feel any better after half an hour, and an ambulance was called. She was carried out on a stretcher and taken to the emergency room.

And so it begins…Madonna’s 17 year old offspring Lourdes Leon is making progress in her pursuit of stardom. Not only is she helping design the Material Girl fashion collection, but Lola has landed a significant role in her La Guardia High School production of the musical classic “Grease.” Lourdes cleverly by- passed the good girl role of Sandy, and auditioned for the wisecracking bad girl Rizzo. Rizzo is a fast greaser girl and a leader of the Pink Ladies clique. Plus she has all the best lines! It’s the same part her mother would have wanted to play in high school. WHAT’S NEW, MADONNA?

When these photos of Madonna,54, at a charity event in London were released the press jumped all over them, gleefully pointing out changes in her face. This time we have to admit that she DOES look different. Her face is fuller and plumper and rounder in shape. Of course there isn’t a wrinkle in sight, but the fullness cannot be denied. She doesn’t seem to have fake cheekbones. What did she do?
