LENA DUNHAM IS INTRODUCING FEMINISM TO ARCHIE COMICS

Lena Dunham looked very together as she arrived at the Jimmy Kimmel show. Besides talking about her book “Not That Kind of Girl,” she discussed her latest venture – writing a four part story for Archie comics. (A childhood favorite of ours) Dunham just can’t imagine two hot, intelligent women like Betty and Veronica fighting over a REDHEAD! (Archie, of course) She intends to inject some feminism into the mid-century mentality of Riverdale. But thankfully, no nudity.

Dress Emmys Fashion Lena Dunham

LENA DUNHAM AT THE EMMYS: PRETTY DRESS ON THE WRONG PERSON

We needed a few days to think about Lena Dunham’s Emmy outfit. The fashion press and Twitter commenters immediately lambasted her for daring to dress up “like Bo Peep.” Polite journalists described her look as “interesting.” Actually her Giambattista Valli dress was quite beautiful – it was a sweet little pink silk blouse tucked into a huge frothy layered pink skirt. But Lena didn’t show it off properly. She simply had the wrong body for that ensemble. It would have been dramatic on a tall skinny model but Lena is too round and short waisted for that particular look. Still, it was a brave choice and we give her credit for not wanting to look like everyone else at the event. (Above, Lena and boyfriend Jack Antonoff on the red carpet)

OMIGOSH! LENA DUNHAM IS WRITING ARCHIE COMICS!

Who would have guessed that we have something in common with “Girls” creator Lena Dunham? It turns out we were both huge fans of Archie comics when we were kids and we collected and saved them. Lena talked about it in an interview, and the Archie Comics company was delighted and sent her a big box of comics. A few weeks later Lena approached the Archie CEO and pitched some story lines she’d like to write for them. They loved her ideas and she’ll be writing Archie and the gang’s adventures in four upcoming issues! Can you IMAGINE?

LENA DUNHAM JUST FOUND OUT HER BOYFRIEND ONCE DATED SCARLETT JOHANSSON!

Lena Dunham, 27, was flabbergasted when she discovered her boyfriend Jack Antonoff, 29, dated Scarlett Johansson in high school. “Girls” creator Lena, told Page Six that she loves perusing the Tumblr blog Old Loves, just for fun, and was shocked to discover a photo (above) of Jack with Scarlett. They were high school sweethearts when they were both 17 at the Professional Children’s School in New York. And they made a cute couple. Just goes to show that Jack has eclectic taste in women. Anna Wintour Lena Dunham Photoshop? Vogue

DID LENA DUNHAM SELL HER SOUL TO VOGUE?

Lena Dunham considers herself a feminist and her accomplishments in creative writing and production are a credit to her sex. Plus she’s not ashamed to take off her clothes on TV and show off her very average body. That alone made women everywhere feel better about themselves. Of course, getting an invitation to appear on the cover of Vogue from Anna Wintour herself, must have been an exhilarating moment for Lena. But in her excitement did she forget all her principles? Lena’s Vogue photos are FAR from natural and liberally photoshopped, something that would have offended Lena at one time. LENA DUNHAM: WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?

We’re big fans of Lena Dunham’s talent, but NOT her fashion sense at this year’s Globes. Who on earth talked her into wearing this Zac Posen classic bombshell dress when she has none of the bombshell necessities? Sofia Vergara would do justice to this fishtail gown, but Lena looks ridiculous. The “Girls” creator should have chosen a funkier downtown look – something hipper, younger, and less pretentious. KIM KARDASHIAN GOT THE BRUSH-OFF FROM ANNA WINTOUR AGAIN!

Another major SLAP in the face for Kim Kardashian, from one of the people she admires most: Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Kim has long been yearning to get into Vogue’s good graces – and on their cover. But editor Anna didn’t even want Kim to attend the magazine’s Met Ball until Kanye West twisted her arm. Unfortunately, when Kim did attend the ball in May she wore this upholstery print monstrosity of a dress! No covers for HER. But Anna DID just arrange to have “Girls” creator Lena Dunham (who’s far from glamorous, but legitimately accomplished) appear on the much-coveted cover. Yes, Lena trumped the fabulous Kim Kardashian!

Lena has been enjoying a steady relationship with musician Jack Antonoff, and she was thrilled when his band Fun. won two Grammys. Taylor appears to be between boyfriends at the moment.
