IT’S NOT OVER FOR JERSEY SHORE’S FIRED ANGELINA PIVARNICK

Why is “Jersey Shore” castoff Angelina Pivarnick smiling slyly, and her boyfriend Paul Imperiale smirking? Perhaps because getting dumped by Jersey Shore doesn’t mean you have to stop getting publicity and making money. Angelina was replaced this season by Deena Cortese, basically because the rest of the cast turned on her. Consequently, Angelina is being courted by New York talk shows hoping she’ll spill the beans on the inner workings of Jersey Shore because she has nothing to lose. She’s pictured above outside a NY studio after one such interview.

OLIVIA MUNN REVEALS EVANDER HOLYFIELD’S PICK-UP TECHNIQUE

We love celebrities who gossip about each other. Chris Pine’s exgirlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, told this story to Reed Tucker at the NY Post about her encounter with boxer Evander Holyfield when she first arrived in LA: She was walking around a mall when Holyfield approached her and invited her to lunch. With nothing else to do, she accepted and they ended up in an Italian restaurant. When Munn ordered the lasagna, Holyfield asked “Is your mom fat? Does she have big ass, big thighs?” When she replied no, Holyfield allowed her to have the lasagna, saying “If your mom’s not fat, you’re not gonna be fat.” At the end of the meal, Evander turned on the charm. He said “I got eight babies by eight different women. You wanna be the ninth?” She was not tempted.

Daughter Dennis Hopper Divorce Gossip Marijuana

DENNIS HOPPER LEFT HIS “DEATHBED” TO GO OUT AND BUY GRASS

Well, HERE’S a surprise. On Thursday, Dennis Hopper was seen shopping at his neighborhood medical marijuana clinic in Venice, Cal. And he looks darn good for a man supposedly on his deathbed who has been described as “heavily medicated and bedridden!” Since he filed for divorce from his wife Victoria, wild stories have been circulating about what’s going on at his home. Dennis, his two adult children Dennis and Marin, and his wife Victoria and young daughter Galen all live together at Dennis’s compound in Venice. Daughter Marin who managed her father’s personal appearances in the past, is being painted as a troublemaker who is engineering the divorce to keep Victoria from getting the bulk of Dennis’ estate, instead of his older children. Apparently people on Victoria’s side and Marin’s side have been releasing gossip, including saying that Dennis is totally out of it and “has no idea what’s going on.”

AMERICAN IDOL JUDGE AND FORMER CONTESTANT EXCHANGED MORE THAN GLANCES

American Idol is a hotbed of gossip since Ellen Degeneres was abruptly hired to replace Paula Abdul. When noteworthy former contestant Constantine Maroulis and Idol judge Kara DioGuardi spotted each other across the catwalk at a New York fashion show, they just HAD to have a chat. Constantine was very curious about Kara’s take on the situation, but Kara seemed far more interested in texting- or is she taking his phone number?

ASHTON KUTCHER HAS A LOT TO LEARN ABOUT THE WORLD OF GOSSIP

Ashton Kutcher is REALLY disappointed that his Pop Fiction series has failed to ignite. When he set up those fake celebrity “situations” like Avril Lavigne shopping in baby stores, and Mario Lopez having lunch with married Eva Longoria and gifting her with a necklace, Ashton had high hopes that websites and magazines would run big stories declaring that Avril was pregnant and Eva was cheating on her husband. He planned to feature the inaccurate reports on his show and make fun of them. But he couldn’t, because nobody FELL for his silly set-ups. Now he’s stuck with a show that’s not working and isn’t likely to improve. The lesson to be learned is: Don’t underestimate the intelligence of gossip reporters!
