AS IF WENDY WILLIAMS NEEDED ANOTHER PROBLEM

We are seriously worried about Wendy Williams. She was just seen returning home in a wheelchair today with her son Kevin and a medical worker. Everybody seems to have theories about Wendy’s health problems but nobody is certain. It’s sad to see the gossip-loving talk show host suffer and be unable to work. Certainly Wendy was NOT cheered up when she learned WHO is taking over hosting The Wendy Williams Show for now. She’s being replaced by a woman who doesn’t believe in evolution and who thinks the world is “probably flat.” Born-again Sherri Shepherd also believes that Christianity pre-dated everything, including Greek civilization. Sherri appalled everyone on The View with her opinions and we wonder how Wendy’s fans will take to her…

ETHAN HAWKE HAS COME A LONG WAY, BABY

Ten years ago we thought Ethan Hawke was a loser. Uma Thurman had just divorced him and he spent his days looking like a slob, hanging around coffee shops in New York with his unemployed actor cronies. Nights were spent in bars drinking too much and making rude comments about other patrons. To our surprise, Ethan pulled his act together and has evolved into an accomplished writer and actor. We particularly loved him in “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead “ with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Above, Ethan is dressed like a fancy man for his appearance on a talk show to promote “Boyhood.

TOKIO HOTEL: BILL KAULITZ’S FASHION EVOLUTION

Last time we saw the German band Tokio Hotel (bottom photo) was two years ago and the lead singer Bill Kaulitz was looking a lot more androgynous, but dependably fashion forward. His skater style twin brother Tom always had dreads (behind Bill in the top photo) so he hasn’t evolved quite so much. The band showed up at Bootsy Bellows nightclub in Hollywood and Bill posed with a fan, above.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’S EVOLUTION OF THE HIGH HEEL SHOE

Hot on the heels of Richard Dawkins’ book defining evolution, designer Alexander McQueen became inspired by the notion of Darwin’s The Origin of the Species, and these shoes and fashions were the result. His collection featured feathers and amphibian scales and prehistoric greenery. (The models even have gills on their temples.) The pinnacle of the collection, however, are the 12 inch high booties that resemble animal hooves. We’d like to see an X-ray of the position of the model’s feet inside. Walking a catwalk can be dangerous.
