Here’s a fun idea. Longtime friends Beyonce and Gwyneth Paltrow cooked up a way for their families to spend some quality time together and their husbands Jay Z and Chris Martin love the idea. They’re going to rent a luxury Winnebago and hit the road in Florida together! (Does it make you think about the Ricardos and Mertzes?) Both Chris and Jay Z are exhausted after touring all this year and really want a break. They plan to drive around and hit a few beaches and see the tourist attractions in Florida – including Disney World. Now THIS would make a great reality show!

CHRIS MARTIN IS NOT AS OBNOXIOUS AS WE THOUGHT

We always thought “Coldplay’s” Chris Martin, 34, was a sourpuss with a condescending attitude. He hated the press, resented being photographed, and seemed ungrateful for all his success. In a rare interview with CBS Sunday Morning (whatever THAT is) he actually said something nice about his wife Gwyneth Paltrow and revealed she was his first and only romantic partner. (QUITE a statement from a rock star.) He modestly admitted he felt like a loser who “won the lottery” when he married the Oscar winner. (Despite her debatable flaws, Gwyneth DOES seem like a great mother and wife.) So we readjusted our opinion of Martin – maybe he’s an introvert and not as ungrateful as he seemed to be.

IS KABBALAH DRIVING A WEDGE BETWEEN GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN?

Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin frequently have to defend their marriage because they are so INfrequently seen together. They’re still reasonably happily married, but there’s a bump in the road: Gwyneth’s ongoing fascination with Kabbalah has become an issue. She and Madonna are still close friends and Madonna’s life revolves around Kabbalah, so she pulls Gwyneth into all sorts of activities. Chris just isn’t that interested in the cultish religion and it’s causing increased friction in the family.

Brad Pitt Chris Martin Gwyneth Paltrow Losing It Paparazzi

GWYNETH PALTROW SHOULD TEACH CHRIS MARTIN HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PRESS WITHOUT HITTING

Chris Martin was his usual unsociable self when he and Gwyneth arrived at LAX after an overseas flight this week. The paparazzi followed them through customs and he became more and more irritable. Finally one malevolent photographer sneered to the uncooperative Coldplay singer “Hey Chris, how does it feel getting Brad’s sloppy seconds?” (Referring to the fact that Gwyneth dated Brad Pitt before she married Chris) Chris LUNGED at the guy and security had to grab him to keep him from throttling the rude snapper. Chris ought to learn to ignore these comments – a violent reaction provides better photos.
