CHER IS THINKING ABOUT THE FUTURE

Cher is doing her kids Chaz and Elijah a favor and cleaning out her closets so they won’t have to. Although she seems to be living it up these days with her decades younger boyfriend (fiance?) Alexander Edwards, Cher has also started facing her own mortality. The recent death of her mom Georgia seemed to be the catalyst. Cher has accumulated over 5 decades worth of costumes, clothing, jewelry, mementos, etc , and now she’s slowly but surely, downsizing. (Years ago we went to a yard sale at her house and it was FABULOUS!) She hired a professional organizer to help her sort through her mountains of stuff.  She’s selling items, donating things to museums and charity thrift shops, and giving her friends some of her possessions. She wants to make it easy for her kids, when she’s no longer around…

Cher Thanksgiving

CHER: WILL SHE OR WON’T SHE?

What is Cher doing today? She is NOT a fan of Thanksgiving. Not sure if she’s celebrating this year with her new boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards, but in past years she has avoided the holiday. Besides being a strict vegetarian, Cher thinks Thanksgiving celebrates the criminal genocide of Native Americans. “We stole their land and gave them blankets laced with smallpox!” she once wrote on social media. CHER INVESTIGATES THE RAP WORLD

Love the fact that Cher seems to be having fun dating a new guy ! He’s a cute rapper-turned-music executive at Def Jam, and Alexander “AE” Edwards is only 36. He happens to be best friends with Kylie Jenner’s ex, Tyga the rapper. Tyga and AE are both players, hopping from one woman to the next. (AE confessed to cheating on his last girlfriend with over 12 women!) The guys are getting a kick out of the attention they get hanging out with Cher. Doubtful if it’s a true romance, but the three of them are having a good time partying!

Cher Cruise Yacht

CHER ALWAYS HAD A MIND OF HER OWN

Right now Cher is on a dream vacation – she’s cruising the Mediterranean with a group of close friends on a huge luxury yacht. The yacht pulled into the Portofino harbor this weekend and the gang got off to sightsee and indulge in the city’s notoriously delicious food. Cher stuck out like a sore thumb amid the casual tourists because she was dressed more appropriately for a nightclub than a sunny day- in head to toe black with black boots. Of course the crowd loved her and she posed for numerous selfies…

Cher Elephant Fashion

TWITTER PUSHED CHER TO DO THE RIGHT THING

We’re not going to say a WORD about the outfit Cher is wearing in London because we love her so much for rescuing “the world’s loneliest elephant.” Cher did some talk shows in the UK and recalled how her Twitter followers urged her to get involved in rescuing the elephant back in 2016. THAT’S how long it took. She ended up paying for the legal team who made the rescue happen. The neglected pachyderm was flown from a run-down zoo in Pakistan to a wildlife sanctuary in Cambodia that has other elephants for company. Altogether a good excuse for Cher to get out of the house for awhile (clad in a black mask, of course!)

Cher Copycat Fragrance Imitation Kim Kardashian

KIM AND CHER: IS IMITATION THE SINCEREST FORM OF FLATTERY?

Kim Kardashian says she has always been a big fan of Cher – and she HAS been known to dress up as Cher on Halloween. Kim was also seen with friends in the audience at Cher’s 2018 concert in Las Vegas. Cher and Kim have also been photographed at some Armenian events. Does all that mean Cher won’t be just a LITTLE irritated by the fact that Kim obviously imitated her perfume ad? Note that both ads are black and white, feature an oversize fragrance bottle, and the same hairstyle. Maybe Cher will take it as a compliment –or maybe not…

Cher n-word Security

CHER: DO ACTIONS STILL SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS?

Cher is on her Here We Go Again tour in London, but she’s keeping tabs on the US news. She offered to pay legal expenses for the Wisconsin school district security guard who was fired under outrageous circumstances. The black guard repeated the n-word when asking a student to stop calling him the same slur! The school touts the fact that they have a “zero tolerance policy” and the guard was terminated. Negative publicity inspired the school board to “review their policy,” but this entire n-word situation is getting out of hand…

Cher Concert

CHER: HERE SHE GOES AGAIN

As expected, there was no shortage of sequins or hair at Cher’s performance in New Jersey on her Here We Go Again tour.The audience loved her and gave her an ear-splitting ovation, to which she wisecracked: “I always wonder if you’re clapping because I’m not dead yet, or because I can still fit into my costumes!”

Cher Concert Tour

CHER DOESN’T NEED TO TURN BACK TIME

The movie Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again came out at exactly the right time for Cher. Her Dancing Queen album followed, and this Spring, her concert tour, appropriately titled “Here We Go Again,” was a big hit in Australia and New Zealand with multiple performances added. She just started the North American leg of the tour in Florida and her opening act is the disco group Chic (Le Freak) with memories of Studio 54. When we saw Cher during her last tour, The Village People opened for her. By all accounts, Cher’s costume changes are numerous and outrageous – Las Vegas glitz all the way…
