Looking like a 1940’s south of the border movie star, Dita Von Teese is pictured leaving Winsor Pilates in West Hollywood. She’s carrying a pair of pink satin en pointe ballet slippers (in the midwest we called them “toe shoes.”) Ballet dancing in pink tights is part of Dita’s act (with a big powder puff and large compact.) Did you know she’s an accomplished ballerina?

Somebody is coaxing Amy Winehouse into coming out with her own line of makeup and accessories. All products and items will be inspired by her own unique look. The number one item will be Amy’s liquid eyeliner. Of course there will be hairspray, lipstick, maybe headscarves and jewelry. Can you imagine pre-teens everywhere with those Cleopatra eyes?
Hey, Amy Winehouse is WAY more of a fashion maverick than she’s given credit for. She’s influenced the hair world with her beehive, the makeup crowd with her eyeliner, and she single-handedly turned pink satin ballet slippers from having a girly ballerina image to the image of a BAD BAD GIRL. (Remember those blood soaked slippers?) Capezio must be thrilled.
