Apparently divorcing Channing Tatum after 9 years of marriage was the right thing to do. The World of Dance host has a thriving career and a new man already. Jenna’s new guy is Shameless actor Steve Kazee and – no surprise- he loves to dance with Jenna. (Finding a guy who enjoys dancing is essential for her.) Meanwhile, Channing is keeping company with Jenna lookalike Jessie J, and he brought his beefcake Magic Mike show to the Hippodrome Casino in London.

Seems like every time we look at Rodrigo Alves, the “Human Ken Doll,” we see some plastic surgery we didn’t notice before! Rodrigo is on the beach in the Dominican Republic, and this time we’re looking at that artificial belly button. Alves brags that he doesn’t work out – whatever musculature he has, was supplied by surgeons. Certainly contributing to his odd appearance are those false eyelashes!

Mickey Rourke is one of Hollywood’s most puzzling and eccentric characters – but he has one enduring and sweet character trait. He truly loves his dogs. He often rhapsodizes about his pooches and takes them with him whenever possible. Tonight he had a dinner date with one of them. Mickey pulled a child seat up to the table at a pizza restaurant in Beverly Hills so he and his tiny dog could enjoy eating together. (Restaurant workers watched him through the window.)

Her now- married ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel, that’s who. Jimmy and Sarah were famously together for seven funny years and finally broke up in 2009. Sarah jokes “I slept with him when he was chubby!”

Robert Downey Jr has always had a sartorial edge, even during the darker periods of his life when he was in and out of courtrooms facing drug charges. Back in the 90’s and early 2000’s Robert had some crazy times,(remember when he staggered into the wrong house and fell asleep in the kid’s bedroom?) but he always looked better than the average actor. Baseball cap addicts Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Bieber could take a tip from Downey. He was photographed in this jaunty blue suit shopping alone in New York clothing stores. RUSSELL CROWE HAS A GOOD EXCUSE FOR LOOKING SO BAD

No WONDER Russell Crowe has been looking so bloated and awful for the past year – he’s been fattening up to play a monster! Specifically, Roger Ailes in a series for Showtime. Ailes was the predatory boss at successful Fox News for 20 years who forced female employees to wear skirts and heels every day. Dozens of women accused him of sexual harassment and huge quantities of hush money changed hands to maintain the misogynistic culture at Fox. The brave women who finally took him on were considerably better looking than Ailes.

MEG RYAN IS GOING BACK TO TV

We haven’t seen Meg Ryan onscreen for some time, and that’s because she is now aiming for a career in directing and producing. Meg has been pitching movie and series ideas to studios and one seems to be paying off. SNL’s Lorne Michaels loves her original idea for a series called The Obsolescents and he’s working with her developing it as an NBC mystery/comedy series. The Sleepless in Seattle star will produce, contribute writing, and maybe star. If she appears on the show, it’ll be Meg’s first TV series since As the World Turns in the early 80’s.

DON’T BE TURNED OFF BY THIS PHOTO – “ROMA” IS BRILLIANT

Netflix is going to take home the Oscar for Best Foreign Film this year – Alfonso Cuaron’s Roma is an unexpected MASTERPIECE! We can’t say enough good things about it. This is the story of the director’s memories of his childhood in the early 70’s in Mexico City. His upper middle class family has beloved servants and these young women are considered to be part of the family. It is their story we are drawn into. And “drawn into“ is no exaggeration – almost from the first scene we feel as if we are part of the family living this story. It’s a rare and wonderful connection, perhaps partly due to the fact that most of the cast are non-actors working without a script. An astonishing achievement.
