RUSSELL CROWE HAS A GOOD EXCUSE FOR LOOKING SO BAD

No WONDER Russell Crowe has been looking so bloated and awful for the past year – he’s been fattening up to play a monster! Specifically, Roger Ailes in a series for Showtime. Ailes was the predatory boss at successful Fox News for 20 years who forced female employees to wear skirts and heels every day. Dozens of women accused him of sexual harassment and huge quantities of hush money changed hands to maintain the misogynistic culture at Fox. The brave women who finally took him on were considerably better looking than Ailes.

NO KIDDING: JIM CARREY IS BACK ON TV

You can tell by the pageboy haircut that Jim Carrey is up to SOMETHING. In fact, he’s in LA filming his first TV series since the brilliant In Living Color back in the 90’s. Showtime ordered 10 episodes of the dramatic comedy, Kidding, in which Carrey’s character is the nice-guy host of a children’s show who teaches kids the right way to live while his own private life and family are falling apart. Impressive costars include Catherine Keener, Frank Langella and Judy Greer.

ATTENTION LADIES: SHOWTIME’S “GIGOLOS” ARE YOURS FOR THE ASKING

Proving that reality shows CAN help the economy, Showtime’s “Gigolos” has only aired one episode and already business is booming at the Las Vegas male escort service (for women only) Cowboys 4 Angels, featured on the series. The show didn’t have an easy time finding female “customers” for their escorts and producers are being very careful to skirt the law. No money changes hands on camera. Women pay the agency $300 for an hour, $550 for two hours, up to $15,000 to spend a week with the hunk of their choice. Hop over to the Cowboys 4 Angels website and pick out YOUR greased up and shirtless dream man. Unfortunately, there are no Richard Gere types. But they’ve all had STD tests. Episode 2 airs tonight.
