THE OSCAR PISTORIUS MURDER CASE: MOVIES ARE IN THE WORKS

The Oscar Pistorius murder case is a long way from going to trial, but already scripts are being hurriedly written, and casting is in discussion. South African sports hero Oscar shot and killed his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp and claimed he thought she was an “intruder.” It’s been speculated that the baby-faced Oscar could be perfectly portrayed by equally boyish Ryan Gosling. And Charlize Theron has been suggested for the role of the beautiful but tragic Reeva, although we think a younger actress like Blake Lively would be more appropriate. It will be interesting to follow this case as it works it’s way through the legal system and more facts are revealed.

Talk about being out of touch with the real world. Without flinching, Gwyneth Paltrow presented her list of “must-haves” for Spring on her website Goop – by popular demand, of course. The stuff she can’t live without this season adds up to $450,000! Gwyneth’s selections include a $5,500 Valentino python bag, shoes averaging $700 a pair and jackets in the $2000 to $5000 range. Very few of her favorites are even remotely in the price range of an average working woman. When you think about it, it isn’t that hard to look good if your budget is $450,000.

Casper is looking a lot more slick and smooth than he did when they first started dating, partly because Jennifer bought him a new wardrobe of suits. Jennifer looks particularly pretty this night in her ballerina length tulle dress. You’ve got to hand it to Jen – she doesn’t need photoshopping to look great in her close-ups.

GUY RITCHIE TREATED HIMSELF TO A SECRET UNDERGROUND TUNNEL

Celebrity indulgence is always fascinating – especially if it’s totally original. Guy Ritchie grew tired of the short walk from his 7 million dollar home to the area where his cars are parked in the morning because he was always recognized and people wanted to stop and chat. (The walk cut through a college full of eager students.) So he applied for a permit to have an eight foot tunnel dug from his door under the college green to the car park area. Work on the tunnel started last week. Madonna’s ex-husband Guy , 44, appears to be living happily ever after with model Jacqui Ainsley, 31, and their two children, along with visits from his two sons with Madonna.

ASHLEY GREENE’S NEIGHBORS: THERE’S MORE TO THIS FIRE THAN MEETS THE EYE

Since Ashley Greene burned up her West Hollywood condo, her suspicious neighbors are all riled up. She claims that a candle set her couch on fire and that’s what started the blaze which completely destroyed her apartment, killed her dog, and badly damaged her neighbors homes and the hallways. The fire caused millions of dollars of smoke damage and building residents are NOT happy. They think her late night partying had more to do with it than just a candle – (maybe drugs?) she had people coming and going at all hours and noise complaints all the time. It’s a good thing she earned a lot of Twilight money because she’s going to be getting a ton of lawsuits.

Miles, 20, has been lead singer in the New York band The Tangents and he’s also a DJ. He provided the music for the Endometriosis Blossom Ball fund-raiser that his mother attended.

BIG BANG’S JIM PARSONS IS A SWEET TRANSVESTITE

The Big Bang Theory cast dressed up like their favorite Rocky Horror Picture Show characters and performed Time Warp to the shock and delight of the crowd at an Alzheimer’s fund raiser. The event was “A Night at Sardi’s” and Kaley Cuoco, Melissa Rauch, and Jim Parsons (above) along with other cast members, had as much fun as the audience. Parsons was especially effective as the Sweet Transvestite Dr Frank-N-Furter.
