WILL THE REAL OSCAR PISTORIUS PLEASE STAND UP

The case against Olympic runner Oscar Pistorius gets more powerful every day. The prosecution says that on the night he shot his girlfriend, neighbors allegedly heard the sound of a woman screaming. Silence followed, and then gunshots. And more screams. Oscar’s claim that he didn’t know that Reeva Steenkamp was in his bathroom and thought he was shooting a intruder, gets flimsier every day. The athlete’s testosterone fueled arrogance and jealousy destroyed two lives and we predict in the light of such evidence against him, he will make some sort of deal. It would be gratifying to finally hear him tell the truth.

  1. I disagree wholeheartedly. I believe it was an awful, tragic accident. There has been no evidence of his alleged testosterone use.

  2. Good luck getting the truth out of this guy. No one is going to come out and admit they shot and killed someone during a domestic dispute, especially someone well known. I hope they throw the book at him.

  3. Guilty of murder. I don’t believe his bullshit story for one second. Vanity Fair did a piece on him that talked about his other acts of rage and using guns. I think he does ‘roids. Hope he gets a long, long sentence in prison.

  4. I’m w/ Georgie. Read the Vanity Fair story, which has been scrupulously researched. He is guilty.

  5. Janet believes he is not guilty. In the middle of the night, while he is sleeping without his blades. Heard an intruder, bolted out of bed, ran on his stumps to confront an intruder with a gun. First the intruder was at the front door that was down the staircase then the intruder was in bathroom. All this was done without his legs. Oh yes, janet he is innocent.

  6. I do not see any evidence of murder. Murder is premeditated, what Oscar did does not appear to be premeditated. He appears to be a broken man.

  7. The lad is at a disadvantage with no legs. His neighborhood had numerous break-ins. A normal man has an advantage over Oscar and in the dark, terrible mistakes can be made. I do not see the heart of a murderer. I see a broken man who foolishly shot before he checked on his girlfriend. He is simply not guilty of murder. Manslaughter perhaps, but not murder.

  8. The prisoners will like him, without those fake legs he’s at perfect BJ height.

I am so sick of all these people who watch law and order type shows, those shows are interesting but the have ruined common sense when viewing a case.

It’s as plain as day this guy killed that girl intentionally, he needs to do hard time.

  9. He has a history of violence against women, has a history of poor judgement when it comes to guns and really believes that he will skate on this. Can anyone really believe that he didn’t know it was his girlfriend locked in the bathroom? He has an anger control problem and it looks like poor Riva caught the brunt of his rage. No, frying him won’t bring her back or make the world a better place, but he deserves punishment for his crime, not pity.

  10. Vanity Fair interviewed an ex-cop. The investigation is ongoing, so he is showing extremely poor judgement in speaking with the press. This Botha man should be a witness, yet he is discrediting himself by talking with VF. If he really wanted justice he would wait until the trial is over to speak his mind.

  11. Janet,

Regarding his defense, are you saying he doesn’t have a leg to stand on?

  12. I agree with Hillary & Georgie! He is guilty! I have read other nasty things about his rages! I hope he does not get off! It’s disgusting!

  13. He’s either lying or he’s dumber than a box of rocks, but he took an innocent life and since his ‘explanation’ is as dubiously lame as explanations get, he should be convicted of reckless manslaughter at the very least even if the judge believes him.
