WHO DOESN’T LOVE JENNIFER TILLY?

We always get a kick out of “Bride of Chucky” star Jennifer Tilly – she was also memorable in the movie “Bound.” You don’t see her onscreen as often these days because she’s busy playing poker. Jennifer goes back and forth between poker and acting. Her tournament winnings total an impressive $890,000. One reason she keeps going back to poker is because her boyfriend of 11 years, Phil Laak, is a poker pro.

We were fans of Jennifer Tilly even BEFORE she filmed “Bound” and it’s nice to see that she’s doing great. For awhile it seemed like Jennifer gave up acting for poker – because she was really good at it and won lots of money. Her boyfriend of 9 years, Phil Laak, 42, is a poker pro and has a new series on the Discovery channel called “Underground Poker.” Phil once played poker for 115 hours straight. A match made in heaven, right? Jennifer has been appearing on Family Guy lately. She and Phil celebrated her birthday this week at Mr Chow.

TOBEY MAGUIRE’S LITTLE GIRL RUBY DOESN’T ALWAYS AGREE WITH HIM

Tobey Maguire, 38, took his seven year old daughter Ruby out to lunch in New York. For the past few years, Tobey seems to have been more interested in playing poker than making movies. He’s played in several World Series of Poker events and it’s been estimated that he has won ten million dollars playing cards. He plays legendary eccentric chess champion Bobby Fischer in his next movie. Above, Tobey is schlepping a car-seat and Ruby doesn’t look happy about something.

BEN AFFLECK’S CLASSIC CAR WON’T START

Ben Affleck will jump at any chance to play poker and not be criticized for it. In the past he lost a lot of money gambling in Las Vegas and other places, but this weekend he didn’t have to keep it quiet – it was all for a good cause. Ben and other actors, including poker-fiend Jennifer Tilly, attended a charity benefit for the Geffen Playhouse and each player paid $1250.00 for a seat in the poker tournament. Ben didn’t walk out a big winner and on top of that his vintage Chevy Malibu wouldn’t start! As Ben stood helpless, the valet had to give his car a jump start.
