Cute Italian actress Elisabetta Canalis, 35, became famous in America when she was dating George Clooney. She has moved on to a new boyfriend and she’s not doing badly for herself. Actually, she and Brian Perri have been seeing each other for MONTHS, but he lives in Beverly Hills and she lives mostly in Italy. Not only is Brian good looking, but he happens to be an orthopedic surgeon at Cedars Sinai hospital. Would you pay $8,800 to sleep with a guy who LOOKS LIKE George Clooney? A wealthy man in London offered that amount to a professional George Clooney lookalike if he would sleep with his wife as a surprise for her 40th birthday. She’s a huge fan of Clooney’s. He told the startled lookalike, Gary Tate, that he and his wife have an ‘’open marriage,” if that makes the offer sound less unsavory. Tate, who has been impersonating Clooney at parties and photo ops etc. since 1997, said no thanks. (We’re betting the wife wouldn’t be as thrilled as the husband assumes.) GEORGE CLOONEY AND STACY KEIBLER: HER TWO YEARS ARE UP!

Gentleman George Clooney,52, has become highly predictable so we’re not surprised to hear that he and Stacy Keibler,33, have split up. The confirmed bachelor is a creature of habit – he’s attracted to slim blondes, decades younger than himself, and less successful than he is. He sweeps them off their feet and they always remain hopeful that they will be THE ONE who inspires George to get married. But two years later, like clockwork, the relationship is over. George is fine with the implication that the girlfriend left HIM because she wanted marriage and children. It makes the split smoother. He is also extremely generous with parting gifts (houses sometimes) so there are no hard feelings. We wonder what George gave Stacy as a goodbye gift.

We’re betting that George Clooney fans were surprised when it was revealed that he has a sock fetish. It has been claimed that he refuses to wear the same pair of socks twice – after one wearing he has socks cleaned and donated to charity and wears a brand new pair every day. (Certainly he wears expensive socks unlikely to be dumped.) This tidbit was gleefully repeated in numerous publications but there is no reason to believe it. The rumor may have started in OK Magazine but there’s no record of it. Meanwhile, it makes George look like a self-indulgent fussbudget.

SOMEBODY PLEASE FIND GEORGE CLOONEY’S CAR!

Mustachioed George Clooney must have done some serious celebrating at Nobu in London because he was very unsteady when he walked out and complained that he couldn’t find his car. (Maybe he should have removed his sunglasses.) Funny how a mustache can age a man. Clooney is currently filming “The Monument Men” in which he plays an art historian. George eventually connected with his car and no, he wasn’t driving.

Rumors that Stacy Keibler is pregnant are actually laughable. There’s no way George Clooney is going to become a father. Many times he has expressed his desire NOT to have children, and long ago he did something about it. He’s clearly had a vasectomy. Think about it. He’s dated a large number of nubile women through the years – many of whom would have LOVED to have his child. But it has never happened. And it never will.

Stacy Keibler wasn’t thrilled with George Clooney’s Lake Como home in Italy because it reminded her too much of George’s exgirlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. Plus, Elisabetta is frequently on TV there. George took Stacy on romantic vacations to Cabo San Lucas and that became their romantic hideaway and “special place.” They’ve been to Mexico five times together and George started yearning to go to Lake Como after ten months absence. Stacy feels more confident in their relationship now and she said “Let’s go!” so they’re soaking up the Italian sun together.

“Jackass” star Steve-O, 37, looks like the cat that swallowed a canary in this photo from Rome where he was caught kissing George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. They were seen embracing on the street and smooching in a taxi while shopping in Rome. We can’t help but wonder if Elisabetta, 33, knows what she’s getting into. The couple has “Dancing with the Stars” in common –Elisabetta was on last season, and Steve in 2009. Neither lasted very long, and strangely, stuntman Steve was injured on the show. Elisabetta might be surprised to learn her MTV beau graduated from Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Clown School. He’s been institutionalized for both drugs and bipolar disorder and he set himself on fire on the Howard Stern show. The good news is he claims to be clean and healthy now and hopefully he will stay that way.
