Britney’s ex-boyfriend David Lucado’s hopes are dashed. It was inevitable that the “mystery girl” he cheated on Britney with would surface and sell her story. (Why not? It’s worth a lot of money!) The fact that she turned out to be a porn star only makes Britney’s father Jamie’s actions more understandable. Jamie paid plenty for a video of David and the porn star, Cali Lee, supposedly kissing and dancing, so he could show it to Britney and keep it out of circulation, thus avoiding embarrassment. But secrets are hard to keep in the age of the internet, so it’s all spilling out. David had hoped to get back together with Britney behind her father’s back, but now it’s unlikely to happen. It’s a tangled web we weave…

SOMETIMES BRITNEY SPEARS FORGETS THAT SHE’S REALLY RICH

Another reason to love Britney Spears. She and her boyfriend David Lucado had lunch, not at The Ivy, but at The Cheesecake Factory in Thousand Oaks this week. According to TMZ they ordered an appetizer and a salad and accidentally walked out without paying the $30 tab. Brit thought her bodyguard picked up the check, and vice versa. She was very apologetic, but the funny part is, Britney took home her leftover salad in a doggie bag. This girl is a millionaire MANY times over and she still eats at chain restaurants and takes home doggie bags! Old habits die hard.

BRITNEY SPEARS CAN’T WAIT TO GET TO MACY’S SALE

She’s never been much of a Barneys or Maxfield shopper, so it makes sense that Britney Spears would get excited over the Super Sunday sale at Macy’s. (50 to 75% off menswear etc!) She and her boyfriend David Lucado (described as an “ordinary guy”) were photographed dashing across the mall parking lot and she’s going to need that bodyguard because the store will be packed. Brit’s a down to earth girl no matter how many millions she rakes in performing in Las Vegas.

BRITNEY SPEARS: HAPPY AT LAST?

Looks like Britney Spears has finally landed a boyfriend with whom she has something in common! They even DRESS alike as they do some supermarket shopping together. David Lucado, who already has the approval of Brit’s father Jamie, is also from the South, and prefers to lead a simple life. When Britney took her exboyfriend Jason Trawick to Target, he always looked like he’d rather be at Barneys. What’s odd is that Britney seems to have no girlfriends – her only female companions work for her.
