Katy Perry looks more like somebody’s Aunt Vera, than a pop star in this awful Christmas inspired get-up. SOME celebrities are in dire need of stylists even when they are NOT on the red carpet. Katy usually looks nice when she is dressed for an event, but when she’s left to her own devices, bad things happen. What she lacks in style, however, Katy makes up for with her good heart. She performed, dressed like this, at a Malibu benefit concert for the Woolsey fire victims held in Calabasas.

Granted, Los Angeles is a casual and laid-back place, but New Jersey born singer Halsey, 24, is obviously underdressed considering she just walked out of the restaurant Joan’s on Third. Maybe the fact that she just split with her rapper boyfriend G-Eazy motivated her to call attention to herself, but after all, it IS the end of October and not all THAT hot. We’re guessing that all eyes were upon her at Joan’s, and she won’t be single for long…

BELLA THORNE NEEDS A MAKEUNDER

Bella Thorne is only 20 and she grew up in Florida, so you have to cut her some slack, but her personal offscreen style is dreadful. Bella looks great on film – she’s a natural beauty and the Hollywood pros know how to dress her and go easy on the makeup. On her own time she lays the face paint on with a trowel, and makes herself look much older. She longs to be cool but ends up dressing overtly sexy and looks far from hip – just tacky. THIS is what she wore to promote her new movie I Still See You.

DID KELLY OSBOURNE RAID HER MOTHER’S CLOSET?

Kelly Osbourne must have a good heart – she got an award from the I Love Me foundation at a ceremony in Hollywood today. The foundation helps LGBT survivors of sexual and domestic abuse. Granted, it’s a rather serious event, but Kelly’s fashion was not on target – it made her look far too matronly. Maybe Kelly need some frivolity in her life about now…

No doubt Jessica Simpson is in a good mood because she’s pregnant with her third child and that means she can eat pretty much ANYTHING she wants for a long time! And no guilt! That’s nice, BUT – these HUGE hair extensions are beyond awful – not only fake looking, but sadly out of style- ESPECIALLY in NYC! We realize Jessica is in the business of SELLING these extensions, but it’s hard to imagine anyone running out to buy them when they see this photo!

BEST DRESSED LIST: HAS PEOPLE MAGAZINE GONE NUTS?

By stupidly including (and pandering to) Kim Kardashian on its Best Dressed list, People has succeeded in EMBARRASSING every other woman on that list! We’re pretty sure being on a list with Kim has made respectable women like Amal Clooney and Kate Blanchett a lot LESS excited about the so-called “honor.” Aspiring designer Kanye West is probably quite happy because HE takes credit for telling his wife what to wear. Kim wore the nasty get-up above to a dinner WITH HER FAMILY IN PARIS and it was an international embarrassment.

LENA DUNHAM IS SABOTAGING HERSELF

THIS is how Lena Dunham looks when she’s walking around NYC??? Granted, the last year or so has been challenging for the Girls creator. Lena had a total hysterectomy last year and she and her boyfriend of five years, musician Jack Antonoff, parted company in December. She admitted she was broken-hearted after the split and it couldn’t have helped when he was linked with his collaborator Lorde early this year, and recently, model Carlotta Kohl. It’s time for Lena to pull herself together and MAKE AN EFFORT. This photo makes her look like somebody’s grandmother and she’s only 31!
