HEATHER LOCKLEAR CLEARLY SUPPORTS DAUGHTER AVA’S MODELING ASPIRATIONS

Heather Locklear, 49, insists she is NOT engaged to Jack Wagner, but she looks better than she has in a long time. And Ava has obviously inherited her mother’s good looks. Heather and her ex Richie Sambora showed up to watch their daughter Ava, 13, walk the runway at the WTB spring fashion show for Fashion Week in Hollywood. (Unfortunately, WTB stands for White Trash Beautiful.)

JOHNNY DEPP IS KEEPING 500 PEOPLE WARM

We happen to be quite fond of Johnny Depp so we’re not at all surprised when he does something beyond the call of duty. He’s been filming “Pirates of the Caribbean 4” at Pinewood Studios in the UK, and the weather has been bitterly cold. After noticing a lot of teeth chattering and shivering among his coworkers, Johnny ordered warm and waterproof hiking jackets for EVERYONE on the production. According to The Sun, at $100 apiece, the bill came out to nearly $50,000 for the large cast and crew of 500.

OPRAH HAS AMBITIOUS PLANS FOR THE FINAL SHOW OF HER SERIES

Oprah has some ambitious and rather fascinating plans for her LAST SHOW. She wants to end the same way she started – with the SAME AUDIENCE members and the SAME guests that she had 25 years ago! She has staffers scrutinizing the tapes from that first show to locate as many people from the original audience as possible. The subject of the first show was “Looking for Love” and Oprah hopes to have the same panel of ordinary people with their love stories twenty-five years later. She feels the Oprah show will then have come full circle.

JUSTIN BIEBER ASPIRES TO FANCIER TRANSPORTATION

Justin Bieber is obviously figures his career future is blindingly bright. He already has a Ferrari, and now he’s shopping for a private jet! He flies a LOT and currently buys hours on NetJet so you won’t catch him on a commercial flight. He’s shopping around for a used Challenger or G-4. In the photo above, Justin is with his father Jeremy Bieber, 36, who was only 20 when Justin was born. Although Justin’s parents aren’t together, his father has always been part of his life.

IS THIS MICHELLE WILLIAMS – OR HER MOTHER?

This is how Michelle Williams looked when she made an appearance in London at a screening of her movie “Blue Valentine” with Ryan Gosling. We’re surprised because at first we thought it was a middle-aged lady. Maybe it’s the dress combined with the white hair. The movie is about a couple struggling with their relationship over a number of years, so perhaps the look suits her character, but we miss the cute little Michelle.

COLIN FARRELL’S BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKIN’

Colin Farrell, 34, has packed his bags again. Just when we thought he might be settling down a bit with his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda and their one year old son Henry, Colin hit the road. Colin and Alicja met in 2009 when they filmed “Ondine” together. The Irish actor, who checked himself into rehab in 2005 for substance abuse, has a seven year old son with model Kim Bordenave. He was married to actress Amelia Warner in 2001 and it only lasted five months. Farrell was most recently seen in New York at Bungalow in the company of model Agyness Deyn.

SEE “CONVICTION” BEFORE YOU HEAR ANOTHER WORD ABOUT IT

If you have even an inkling that you might want to see “Conviction” with Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell, and Juliette Lewis, do NOT watch any TV shows discussing the movie or read reviews. The LESS you know about it, the better. There are certain plot surprises and subtleties that have been revealed as the movie is publicized, and it’s a shame! All you need to know is that the story is true and fascinating and the actors are well chosen. We were lucky to see the movie before we knew anything about it and it was captivating and surprising.

SORRY ANDERSON, VINCE VAUGHN KNOWS WHAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT

We were NOT upset like Anderson Cooper was by the use of the word “gay” in the trailer for Vince Vaughn’s movie “Dilemma.” And frankly, we don’t think it has anything to do with bullying homosexuals. We’ve heard and seen way more outrageous gay oriented humor on Saturday Night Live and both gays and straights found it funny.
Let’s get specific: The opening scene of the trailer in question is set in a board room where Vaughn is delivering a presentation about electric cars and says, “Electric cars are gay. I mean, not homosexual gay, but my-parents-are-chaperoning the dance gay.”
Is there a gay person out there offended by this? Is the word “gay” destined to be forbidden? It was censored right out of the trailer!
Vince Vaughn obviously agrees with us – he released this statement today:
“Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be. Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing dividing lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it STOP.”
