BOBBI KRISTINA WANTS HER LIFETIME REALITY SHOW TO BE A HIT. WILL YOU WATCH?

The late Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is back in the news today because she was involved in a car crash in Georgia, as reported by TMZ. Bobbi, 19, and her adopted brother-turned-boyfriend Nick Gordon were heard arguing and they smashed up their car but managed to drive it back to their apartment. When they had a loud argument neighbors called the cops and police noticed the smashed car, but no one answered the door. Too bad Bobbi’s Lifetime reality show “The Houstons: On Our Own” has already finished filming, so this episode won’t be included. The show features Whitney’s siblings and in-laws, but we cannot figure out WHAT could be interesting about Whitney’s surviving relatives. Bobbi seems to be the only one with train wreck potential. This car crash might lure more people to tune in on October 24.

“FAMILY GUY” SETH MACFARLANE AND HIS “GAME OF THRONES” GIRLFRIEND

Definitely one of the best catches in Hollywood these days is multi millionaire Seth MacFarlane, 38. He’s gotta be really amusing because he can do dozens of voices and he writes his animated series (Family Guy) and his recent hit movie Ted. He currently has a 100 million dollar deal with Fox. He’s been seeing Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 25, from England for the past few months and they showed up at Emmy parties together. But it’s not always glitzy with Seth- he took Emilia to Mel’s Diner for lunch today.

DANCING WITH THE STARS: PAMELA ANDERSON IS IN ABOVE HER HEAD

Last night we really felt sorry for Pamela Anderson. Her cha cha got the LOWEST score of the night. The all-stars on Dancing with the Stars are a highly competitive group. Most either won their season or came close. Pam was one of the first voted off on her season. It’s not fair. Presumably she was invited back because she looks so good in the costumes. As judges negatively critiqued her dance, Pam looked stricken and devastated. It was an awkward moment and made us question the validity of the all-star show, We’re not as curious as we usually are about the contestants because we’ve ALREADY seen them dance, and they’re good. This season we won’t be wondering if the celebrities will embarrass themselves and we won’t be watching them improve every week. It’s just not as compelling.

Just when you thought it was safe to get arrested and post bail, Dog The Bounty Hunter is returning to TV! The show was cancelled by A&E after eight seasons in May. Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife Beth’s family had been fighting and it was unclear exactly who would be on the show if it continued. CMT stepped up and plan to keep Dog and Beth on TV. This time around the Chapmans will help to make over small, struggling bail bond agencies with their combined experience, much like Tabatha’s Salon Takeover and Gordon Ramsay’s Hotel Hell. Yes, the Chapmans will be GIVING makeovers – and to think we once suggested they GET makeovers…

After this summers events, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Scientology leader David Miscavige had jumped off the tallest Scientology building. His own niece, Jenna Miscavige Hill, has written a tell-all book about her life in the cult. Jenna’s parents left the organization when she was 16 and she wasn’t allowed to have contact with them. After six miserable years, SHE left also and reunited with her family. She promises a lot of new information about the “upper ranks” of Scientology. (More?) Meanwhile, David Miscavige and his flock are planning to retaliate against all their bad press by starting up 24 hour Scientology propaganda broadcasting from the KCET Studios they purchased in Hollywood (and aren’t paying taxes on) last year. Be careful, they might be recruiting YOU in the middle of the night!

1974 Bond Girl Britt Ekland is looking quite fabulous. Swedish Britt was one of the hottest blondes in the 70’s – Peter Sellers proposed to her after seeing a photo in a magazine. She also dated Rod Stewart and married Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom. You might remember, Britt and Peter’s daughter Victoria was Heidi Fleiss’s best friend and involved in her Hollywood madam scandal. Britt, 69, made a London appearance to promote the Blu-Ray Collection of James Bond films celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Bond movie.

KATIE HOLMES IS REBUILDING HER SOCIAL LIFE

The fact that Katie Holmes has started reaching out to old friends like her Dawson’s Creek costar Joshua Jackson makes a lot of sense. Most of her friends lost touch with her when she married Tom Cruise. Tom has a very small circle of friends -mostly Scientologists – who socialized with the Cruises. A source who was intermittently working at Tom and Katie’s Beverly Hills home (and other celebrity homes also) told me the Cruise house was different. He said that Tom and Katie almost never had guests or entertained. He never encountered the Cruises preparing for a party or barbecuing outside or enjoying the company of friends. The driveway was never packed with cars and the house was never noisy. Readers have been asking if Meg Ryan and John Mellencamp are still together and the answer is definitely YES. Meg was cheering on her boyfriend at the 22nd annual Farm Aid festival in Hersheypark , Pa. where John performed with Willie Nelson, Neil Young, etc. Mellencamp’s voice was described as sounding hoarse and damaged and we’re not surprised since we rarely see of photo of him without a cigarette in his hand.

We were sorry to hear that Sheila Ryan Caan died last week . We met Sheila back in the 70’s when she was dating Elvis Presley. She wasn’t a quickie- she actually dated him for at least a year and he paid her rent and bought her a car and who knows what else. She was a pretty, natural looking blonde from Chicago and as soon as she and Elvis split she started seeing James Caan, who tried to out-do Elvis when it came to gifts. Her marriage to Caan wasn’t great, but they had a talented son Scott, now a successful writer and actor on Hawaii Five-O. Sheila was sweet and well-meaning, but problematic. Her life always revolved around the men she was with and she never made the effort to develop her own talents, so her later years were not as happy as her early years.

Miley Cyrus, 19, has never looked better. She’s pictured here at the iHeart Music Festival in Las Vegas. She seems to have left that hillbilly girl behind her and morphed into a modern young woman. By the way, she and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth have NOT split. He can’t always be by her side because he has a career of his own. In fact, she lovingly dropped him off at LAX a few days ago so he could fly to the “Catching Fire” set in Atlanta.
