The Honey Boo Boo steamroller just keeps advancing! Honey Boo Boo (Alana Thompson) and her mama June visited the Grove today on their whirlwind tour of Hollywood. They’ve been on local TV shows all day and Extra invited them to The Grove to talk about Rosie O’Donnell’s invitation to buy them a new house. June said she likes the house she lives in, but wouldn’t mind renovating and adding some bedrooms. Rosie wants to make a TV special out of the home makeover. Simon Doonan says Honey Boo Boo is “today’s Shirley Temple” and he might be right.

What happened to Chanel? And what happened to Brad Pitt? This Chanel #5 ad (top) has to be the worst thing brad has ever done! He looks washed out, rumpled and defeated. Facial fuzz and stringy hair add to the lack of physical appeal. There’s nothing flattering or enticing or sexy about the ad. Compare it to the one that Charlize Theron did (with no expense spared) for Dior. Which scent would YOU buy?

THE PAPERBOY: TENNESEE WILLIAMS ON STEROIDS

The audience walking out of a recent screening of Lee Daniels’ “The Paperboy” didn’t know WHAT to think. Some were repelled by the white trash vulgarity of the oversexed sweaty characters and others were mesmerized. Some seemed EMBARRASSED to admit they liked it! In the movie, it’s 1969 in Florida and Matthew McConaughey plays a reporter with a lurid dark side and Zac Efron is his sex-obsessed younger brother. John Cusack plays the most revolting character of all – a deranged prisoner who might be innocent of murder. Nicole Kidman is the desperate floozy who wants to marry her prison pen pal. Mix all this up with thick southern accents (especially Macy Gray the narrator) swamp dwellers, and racial tension, and you have a poisonous stew. But the movie is funny at times, surprisingly compelling, and you cannot take your eyes away. Some might call it lowbrow, but it’s entertaining.

Sorry for all the Kardashian news, but these photos are too funny to pass up. When Kim Kardashian makes a fashion mistake, she makes it in a big way! Apparently she didn’t check out the back view of her skin-tight outfit in Miami because her pantyless bottom is clearly visible under the sheer skirt. She’s trying to catch a look in the reflection of a car, but doesn’t see anything amiss.

SOUTH BEACH DOESN’T WANT KOURTNEY AND KIM TO INVADE THEIR SPACE

“Kardashian banning” might become a trend this year. South Beach has refused to allow Kim and Kourtney Kardashian to film their reality show and the girls and their film crew had to relocate fifteen miles away in a gated community in a decidedly unglamorous Miami neighborhood. The Miami Beach office of film and print didn’t grant the show “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami” the necessary permits to film in fashionable South Beach. The show, which airs in January, started filming last week wherever they can.

All of a sudden Russell Crowe, 48, and his wife Danielle Spencer are calling it quits after nine years of marriage and at first it’s surprising, but after you think about it, it’s not. He seems like one of those rough, hard drinking Australian guys like Mel Gibson who need an experienced Australian woman to manage him. (We remember when he tried to strangle a bartender at a party for refusing to serve drinks after the party ended.) While Danielle, 43, has been at home in Sydney where their two sons go to school, Russell has been filming movies on locations back to back and has SEVEN coming out over the next year. STING FANS: GET YOUR ROCK MEMORABILIA HERE!

Good news for fans of Sting, The Police, or The Bangles – but only if you live in the Los Angeles area. There is a fabulous estate sale this weekend at a big opulent house built in 1923 that once belonged to Raymond Burr and most recently to Miles Copeland III. Miles is the brother of Stewart Copeland from The police and he’s a bigtime music manager who handled these bands among others. Copeland has moved out of the 8700 sq ft mansion, but he left behind mountains of CD’s, gold and platinum records, concert t-shirts, posters, and rock souvenirs of all kinds. These photos of his bedroom and bathroom reveal he lived like a medieval king. Seeing the house is an experience in itself. Click here for details.
