GEORGINA CHAPMAN GOT MARCHESA BACK ON THE RED CARPET

Still recovering from her ex-husband Harvey Weinstein’s horrific sexual abuse scandal, (87 women accused him- he’s serving 23 years in prison) Georgina Chapman has been laying low and her fashion line Marchesa has been suffering. Chapman’s business partner quit in 2019 and the label, which was often seen on red carpets, (because Weinstein FORCED actresses to wear it) is now mostly sold to bridesmaids. Chapman claimed to know NOTHING about her husband’s crimes, but few people believe her. She wants to bring her Marchesa label back to life but hasn’t had any luck until she started dating Oscar winner Adrian Brody. HE gets invited to the best events so SHE can show off her latest designs. A match made in….heaven?

TOM CRUISE: WHO’S THE “LUCKY” GAL?

Tom Cruise Arrived at Wimbledon Saturday with two of his attractive Mission Impossible 7 costars, (Pom Klementieff and Hayley Atwell) and ONE is rumored to be his girlfriend. And it’s about time- Tom hasn’t been linked with anyone since he divorced Katie Holmes in 2012. Tom has a notoriously hard time approaching women – so he either meets them through Scientology set-ups, or he casts women he likes in his movies so he can get to know them (like Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes.) MI7 has at least FOUR attractive women in leading roles so you KNOW one of them will end up with Cruise. London tabloids say he’s been keeping company VERY quietly with 20 years younger Hayley Atwell (on right) – but why all the secrecy?

It’s time for Vanessa Paradis to get a grip. Those gap teeth are not doing her any favors. After a certain age, gap teeth can look more “homeless” than cute. HGTV DARLING CHRISTINA CAN DO NO WRONG

We always got the feeling Christina El Moussa got her job hosting HGTV’s Flip or Flop with her husband Tarek El Moussa simply because she happens to be cute. Her voice is grating, and she never seemed like an “expert“ on ANYTHING to do with home remodeling or decor. But she’s lucky – when she divorced Tarek, HGTV kept her on. When she quickly remarried, her NEW husband Ant Anstead shared a series with her. When she divorced him in 2 years, she continued at the network. As Christina Haack, she’s now dating an Austin, Texas realtor, Joshua Hall– is HE destined to get a series with her? It’s complicated. Stay tuned.

TAKE MY PICTURE, PLEASE!

There’s ONE publicity hungry oddball on every important red carpet! Russian TV personality Elena Lenina makes it a habit to show up at the Cannes Film Festival every year in a crazier look than she had last year! Sometimes she has outrageously big hair and sometimes it’s her whole outfit. The Oscars used to have a B actress that turned up on the red carpet every year in a hideously sexy outfit. Usually she was turned away at the door (after being photographed nonstop) but with all their security, one wonders how she got THAT far. We’re not sure how Elena gets invited to Cannes events each year – she must have friends in high places.

GWEN STEFANI AND BLAKE SHELTON: WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE?

It took them six years to commit, but Blake and Gwen finally got married last weekend. The fact that they seem to be two of the nicest people in Hollywood made it a rare event. This is our favorite photo from the Oklahoma wedding. Gwen’s sons with her ex Gavin Rossdale took part in the event and Kingston,15, is already evolving into a rockstar cutie.

SYLVESTER STALLONE: NOT ALWAYS AS SWEET AS HE LOOKS

Sylvester Stallone celebrated his 75th birthday this week and says he is MOST grateful for his family. He was smart to marry model Jennifer Flavin back in 1997, because they had 3 beautiful daughters who look nothing like their father. Back in the day when he was an action hero, Stallone was VERY competitive with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In fact we heard he went so far as to pay a UK journalist to write about Arnold’s father having been a nazi, in hopes of damaging his career. It didn’t, but eventually Sly calmed down and he and Arnold became friends – all was forgiven.

HOLLYWOOD WHODUNIT

Although he was never anything more than a plus one, this blast from the past became a household name thanks to his association with a major pop-star. Back in the day you couldn’t pick up a tabloid without seeing their drama plastered everywhere. Once their relationship dissipated so did any interest in him, but not for his lack of trying. He attempted to insert himself into the lives of two other female celebrities but failed. Now that he’s out of the public eye, he spends his time cruising Venice Beach offering down-on-their-luck men a place to couch surf. Once they’re in his home he makes a move, and those who don’t put out get tossed out.

EVEN BELLA HADID WAS WARNED: NO SELFIES ON THE RED CARPET AT CANNES!

The models always seem to out-do the actresses on the red carpet at the opening ceremony for the Cannes Film festival. Bella Hadid’s dress had a long train and following her up the stairs was a man scooting around, arranging the long train on the floor behind her for maximum effect. Probably hired by the designer of the gown. Whether Bella actually has anything to do with the festival is unknown, but she livened up the event for the paparazzi, and her designer will no doubt get a lot of publicity. The antiquated dress code on the red carpet has loosened slightly, but this year everyone invited was sternly warned NOT to take red carpet selfies – or they could be banned from screenings.
