Billy Crudup has been considered a Hollywood ladies man since he appeared as a rockstar in Almost Famous. In the early 2000’s he was THE HOT GUY and he dated all the cute young actresses like Mary Louise Parker and Claire Danes. He’s currently playing an egotistical news executive on The Morning Show and dating Naomi Watts. Granted, he’s 53 now, but if he didn’t have that grey beard, women’s heads would be turning as he jogged by in New York. Grey beards can be female repellants no matter how cool the guy is behind it. Who needs to look 20 years older than they are? Certainly beards come in handy if a man DOESN’T want admiring glances…

CHER ALWAYS HAD A MIND OF HER OWN

Right now Cher is on a dream vacation – she’s cruising the Mediterranean with a group of close friends on a huge luxury yacht. The yacht pulled into the Portofino harbor this weekend and the gang got off to sightsee and indulge in the city’s notoriously delicious food. Cher stuck out like a sore thumb amid the casual tourists because she was dressed more appropriately for a nightclub than a sunny day- in head to toe black with black boots. BLAKE LIVELY PROTECTS HER BABIES FROM “MENACING” PAPARAZZI

Blake Lively was very upset by paparazzi who took these photos of her and her kids on the street in New York. She said she tried to calmly approach one guy who would run away and jump out again for more photos on the next block. Blake has a hard time trying to convince paparazzi to leave her kids alone. She asked magazines to “stop paying grown men to hide and hunt children.” Some celebrities feel their children are unsafe if photos are taken – we never understood exactly why. (Can you name any celebrity kids damaged by paparazzi photos?) Blake wants to keep her children off social media until they “come of age.” But we predict her kids will be voluntarily ON social media the MINUTE they are old enough to find out what it is!

THE NEW “ORANGE COUNTY HOUSEWIFE” IS MORE THAN A DOCTOR

The Real housewives of Orange County just started filming next season and they’ve added a tantalizing new cast member. She’s Jennifer Armstrong, an Orange County MD who specializes in skin care and anti-aging treatments, of course. But she’s more than your typical educated, successful woman- she got through school the easy way – with someone else paying for it! Back in 2014 she was sued by her disgruntled billionaire former fiancé who claims he paid her way through medical school while showering her with money, a Range Rover, jewelry etc, and after graduation she cheated on him and dumped him. By that time she was pregnant with twins that she claimed were HIS, but it turned out they weren’t! They eventually settled the lawsuit, but Bravo hopes to find the billionaire and get him to appear on the show.

PARIS JACKSON’S DREAM COMES TRUE

Born beautiful, Paris Jackson, 23, has been exploring career options -and dabbled in modeling, singing, and acting. She’s done well, but hasn’t really clicked big-time with any of them. Until now. Ryan Murphy has taken her under his wing and given her a role in the first two episodes of American Horror Stories this (tenth) season. Paris says she was hooked on the series as a teen, watched every year, and fantasized about seeing her name on the credits someday. She is thrilled. Coincidentally or not, her character in the series, Maya, has a girlfriend, and Paris says she’s “had more girlfriends than boyfriends” in her own life…

JUSSIE SMOLLETT: WE CHICAGOANS WANT JUSTICE!

We were incredibly disappointed when charges against Jussie Smollett were dropped in 2019. Remember, the Empire actor claimed two racist and homophobic white men viciously attacked him in Chicago (one was wearing a MAGA hat, no less) – his story was too absurd to believe. Turns out, he paid two guys who worked on Empire $3500 each to fake the attack. (He thought the publicity would enhance he’s career) But the guys confessed, and we were relieved that Chicago wasn’t as evil as Jussie made it seem. When charges against Jussie were dismissed, we chalked it up to corrupt politicians. But SOMEBODY came to their senses, and he was recharged with felony misconduct for the scam. Covid got in the way, but now he’s back in court and we hope he gets what he deserves.

SEAN PENN’S REAL KIDS PLAY HIS KIDS IN “FLAG DAY”

Sean Penn has been helping people with his CORE charity since 2010 so it makes sense that he’d get around to giving his kids a career boost. He directed and stars in Flag Day, which just screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Dylan Penn, 30, and Hopper Penn, 27, both look excited to be there with their father. (Dylan inherited good looks from her mother Robin Wright) The film is based on a true story about a father leading a double life as a con man/crook so he can take excellent care of his daughter. Hopper plays his estranged son. Both Dylan and Hopper have been working on assorted projects of their own, but this film should open more doors in Hollywood for them.

IF CONSERVATORSHIP ENDS, BRITNEY WILL GET A QUICK PROPOSAL!

Britney Spears has said she wants to marry and have more children, but her hot young boyfriend Sam Asghari, 27, has NOT proposed. Why not? CAN CARRIE BRADSHAW SAVE “AND JUST LIKE THAT?”

SOMEBODY (Kim Cattrall) looks really happy that her friend Patricia Fields (with the hat on) is NOT doing wardrobe for the new SATC revival And Just Like That. Fields was responsible for the eye-popping fashion innovations that made the series so delicious to watch. Kim disappointed everyone when she turned down the movie, and Patricia did too – but she had a good excuse. Fields says she’s too busy working as costume designer for Emily in Paris. From what we’ve seen so far, the wardrobe for And Just Like That is NOT thrilling, but we’ll give it more time. (We’re just happy to see the SATC women again) The question is: Can the revival succeed without Kim and Patricia? We hope so…
