OWEN WILSON: NOT AS SWEET AS HE LOOKS

We never imagined that Owen Wilson would have something in common with the handsome rapper Future, but he DOES! But Future is way ahead – he has 8 kids with 8 baby mamas while Owen only has 3 kids with 3 baby mamas. Wilson supports his two sons, Robert, 10, and Finn, 7, and gets long with the mamas, while spending time and acting like a father to the boys. It’s NOT the same for Wilson’s lookalike little girl Lyla. Wilson dated her mother Varunie Vongsvirates off and on for five years, and Lyla was born after they split up. Owen demanded a paternity test which confirmed he IS the father, and he does financially support her. Unfortunately, he has NEVER met his 3 year old daughter and sadly, has no interest in doing so, according to Varunie. Suddenly Owen Wilson doesn’t seem like such a nice guy, after all…

CARDI B HAS A LIVE-IN “BODYGUARD”

Sometimes we think Cardi B is scary looking, but it turns out her husband Offset is even SCARIER looking! Cardi just had a riotous 29th birthday party at LA River Studios with a “dancehall” theme so most of the women wore fishnets of some kind. Offset just wore black with this serious jewelry, but the look on his face says it ALL. He’s in bodyguard mode- just LOOKING for trouble. Luckily he didn’t find any – that night. But it’s apparent that he has a familiarity with guns and drugs and for that reason, has spent time in prison. HERE’S GIGI- BUT WHERE IS ZAYN MALIK?

SO nice to see someone walking around in the daytime WITHOUT A HOODIE! Gigi Hadid gave birth to her daughter a year ago and she’s never looked better. (LOVE that white coat) But WHERE is the father of her child, Zayn Malik? He’s been missing in action for quite awhile. Zayn and Gigi and their baby have been living at his farm in rural Bucks County, Pennsylvania, near her mother Yolanda’s ranch. Socially anxious Zayn says he loves growing his own crops and staying out of the limelight, but he hasn’t been actively promoting his own music since he left One Direction. BEN AFFLECK AND MATT DAMON ARE OLDER AND WISER

It’s been a significant week for Ben Affleck – he’s almost as busy as Jennifer Lopez! Above, Ben and Jennifer are pictured at the NY premier of his film The Last Duel. He co-wrote the script with Matt Damon (their first since Good Will Hunting) and they both star in the film steeped in sexism, about a duel over a woman in 14th century France. To their credit, Matt and Ben invited a female writer to collaborate on the script and help write the pivotal female character played by Jodie Comer. (FINALLY, men who admit they cannot write realistic female characters!) We LOVE them for that. That same weekend, Ben’s other movie The Tender Bar, directed by George Clooney, premiered in London and Ben couldn’t be there, so George filled in for him.

MORGAN FREEMAN HAS NO BEEF WITH POLICE

Morgan Freeman is currently promoting his new film The Killing of Kenneth Chamberlain. It’s about the real-life murder of a 68 year old former Marine with bi-polar disorder who accidentally set off his medical alert device which summoned police. That led to a confusing confrontation and his death. Freeman also happens to fund a program at the University of Mississippi for evidence-based policing and reform. A Black Enterprise reporter asked Freeman how he felt about de-funding the police and was surprised when Morgan declared “I am NOT in favor of de-funding police- despite current negativity, police work is necessary and most of them are guys just doing their job!”

DON’T BLAME KIM KARDASHIAN FOR THAT LOUSY SNL SHOW

It would be easy to blame Kim Kardashian West for that lame Saturday Night Live episode she just hosted- but don’t. She was the most interesting element of the show – even with her shortcomings. Visually (clothing-wise) she always gave us something sexy and colorful to look at, but she had very limited physicality and barely moved- always maintaining a flattering angle and a clear view of cue cards. Besides looking a bit stiff, she read her lines in a flat and monotonous manner. Her opening monologue would have been much funnier if she read her lines with some sly enthusiasm and appropriate pauses. Aside from The Peoples Kourt skit, the WRITERS should be blamed for the mediocrity of the show- THEY dropped the ball – Kim gave it her best.

YOU CAN BID ON A PIECE OF AMY WINEHOUSE’S LIFE

Julien’s Auctions is about to have a huge auction of Amy Winehouse’s personal possessions and it made us kind of sad just looking at the offerings. The event is called “Property from the Life and Career of Amy Winehouse” and it looks like someone just emptied everything out of her apartment when she died- except the furniture. Besides the Elvis action figures she collected, you can bid on spiked cat collars that she wore as bracelets, her 7 Jackie Collins books, a pink heart shaped laundry bucket, 50’s and 60’s CDs and songbooks, TONS of black lace bras and bikinis, negligees, soiled ballet slippers, halter dresses and lots of jeans, t-shirts and shorts. Not many designer labels- mostly Zara, Topshop, and Adidas. Some clothes have food spots on the front. Amy lost lot of weight after she met the druggy boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil, so there’s a variety of clothing sizes. The outfit in the photo above is a Lacoste tank top size 36 and 7 For All Mankind denim shorts size 25. Bidding starts at $75 for the ensemble – the live and online auction is Nov 6-7.

MAN OF THE YEAR: BILLY PORTER

When we heard that Billy Porter was the big winner at The Attitude Awards in the UK, it set our imagination racing. What on earth ARE The Attitude Awards? Turns out, Attitude is a gay lifestyle magazine (since 1994) and they have a big award show in London each year. The show “celebrates people making an impact in the LGBTQ community and supporters of the community.” (so in this situation “attitude” does NOT mean arrogant or antagonistic.) Actor/singer/fashion icon Billy Porter was named MAN OF THE YEAR and his personal style livens up any event…

JOAQUIN PHOENIX HAS MINIMAL VANITY

Now HERE’S an unflattering haircut! Last night Joaquin Phoenix appeared at the New York Film Festival to promote his new film C’mon C’mon, with the top of his head shaved and the sides long and flowing! The movie got good reviews but the haircut did NOT. Today he was seen walking in New York with his fiancé Rooney Mara, who seemed to have no complaints about his unusual style. He looks considerably older than his 46 years, but perhaps Rooney is consoled by the fact that other women don’t pay a whole lot of attention to him…
