Nice to see Antonio Banderas and Harrison Ford greeting each other with a big hug on the Italian set of Indiana Jones 5 when Antonio arrived for his first day of shooting. The film had a big setback when Ford injured his shoulder in June and he had to take a few months off. Back at work, he was happy to see Antonio, with whom he costarred in that ultra-macho movie Expendables 3 a few years ago. (Expendables 3 starred chest-thumpers Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jason Statham, plus almost every other tough guy in Hollywood.) The highly secretive plot for this new Indiana Jones story has the daredevil archeologist supposedly time traveling and fighting nazis as well as visiting the 1960’s during the space race.

Angelina Jolie brought five of her six kids to the premier of The Externals at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood and their are TWO things of special interest in this photo: First of all, Angelina has some sort of gold metal jewelry that goes from upper lip to chin. Is it attached to her skin? A new piercing? Don’t know. What we DO know is that 15 year old Shiloh is looking a whole lot more feminine. Yes, that’s boyish Shiloh in the beige abstract dress and white flats, looking pretty. Her longer hair is up in a twist and she has just a LITTLE makeup on! This is a BIG step for a “tomboy” who wore boys clothes and wanted a boy’s name just a few years ago…

Zendaya scored a home run with this white asymmetrical dress at the London premier of Dune – and the 5’10” beauty prowled the red carpet like a supermodel. She only had small part in the movie but got a lions share of attention. What a treat to see a beautiful dress with no overt sexuality and nary a sequin in sight! Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach AKA “image architect” has a knack for always making her look special. The gown was created by Rick Owens (the designer that Kanye really wants to BE) and it’s available at his online store for $4,100.00.

We have never really understood the appeal of Norman Reedus. Sure, he was a fashion model back in the 90’s, but he has this weird, flat, unwashed looking hair and grizzled face now. (He probably WOULD clean up nicely, but that doesn’t seem likely to happen.) In spite of that, The Walking Dead star has a successful career and attracts gorgeous women. Drummer Travis Barker is a changed man. And it looks like he has Kourtney Kardashian to thank for these changes. His 2008 plane crash that landed him horribly burned in the hospital for 11 weeks undergoing 27 surgeries, left him with a fear of flying, and suicidal. He became a recluse. That is, until he started spending more time with old friend Kourtney. Their friendship developed into romance, and with her, he’s flying again. Not only flying, but smooching in public with no qualms. He seems to be enjoying the attention they get just walking down the street in New York in the photo, above. Kourtney was with him backstage (more PDA!) when he drummed for Young Thug on SNL this weekend. His shirtless and highly active drumming got him a burst of applause…

Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos looked mighty happy here as he and his cute girlfriend Lauren Sanchez left NY restaurant Cipriani after lunch. His space trip with William Shatner was a huge success and cheered him up after unpleasant communications from his space rival Elon Musk. (Is the race to space all about machismo?) NASA awarded a 2.9 billion dollar contract to Musk, and via Twitter, he sent Bezos a silver “2nd place” emoji. Bezos promptly sued NASA, insisting the contract was unfairly awarded to Musk. We think William Shatner made a very important observation – that outer space is utter blackness and when he looked down at earth it was bright and beautiful. Let’s appreciate and take care of what we have…

Angelina Jolie slipped out the backdoor of the Skylight bookstore (located not far from her home) after being mobbed by hundreds of eager fans. She has cowritten a book with a civil rights lawyer aimed at young people called Know Your Rights and Claim Them: A Guide for Youth. Angelina is an advocate for children around the world and wants them to know they have rights, but will this help girls in Afghanistan get educated? Certainly Angelina has good intentions and her celebrity will help sell some copies of the book, but we can’t figure out how kids living in countries with awful political situations can change things… we’ll just have to read the book.

We love this photo of Paris Hilton and Demi Lovato shopping together on Fairfax Ave -and creating QUITE a stir. Who even knew they were friends? Looking back, Paris DID appear in Demi’s Sorry Not Sorry video -playing a DJ in party scene. And in 2019 Paris was prominently featured at Demi’s Halloween party at Hyde. Oh yes, and Demi just appeared on Paris’s Netflix series Cooking With Paris, so obviously they’ve been friends for awhile. Today the noteworthy twosome invaded – of ALL places- the Dolls Kill store in search of Halloween costumes together. We bet that store went up for grabs when these two walked in…..and what did they walk OUT with?
