DOES BELLA THORNE REALLY WANT TO GET MARRIED?

Disney kid turned naughty girl Bella Thorne, 23, is dead serious about her new Italian popstar boyfriend Ben Mascolo, 28,- after all, they ARE engaged. He’s a singer from Modena, Italy, and THAT was a problem during quarantine, but they are now reunited in Italy. Last year they managed to film his first movie together, Time Is Up, in Rome. They met and fell in love at Coachella in 2019 shortly after Bella had a messy split with Mod Sun. Afterward, Bella said she identifies as pansexual. Mod Sun is now seen everywhere with Avril Lavigne, while Bella and Ben are in Milan. Life goes on…

WHEN ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER LOOKS SMALL

Arnold Schwarzenegger was in Columbus, Ohio this weekend for his annual Arnold Sports Festival where he ran in to Shaq- one of few guys who can make Arnold look petite. Arnold’s comment: “Great to see my friend Shaq, although I don’t know why he always insists on standing on a 2 foot box when he’s with me.” (Shaq was in town for a DJ job.) Arnold’s bodybuilding contest revealed the competitors are even more gigantic and lumpier that ever- don’t know if it’s due to better gym equipment or better performance drugs…and they all seem to be addicted to deep tanning …

IRIS LAW LOOKS BETTER WITH A BUZZCUT

Iris Law, 20, has been bouncing around the modeling world for a few years now, but suddenly everything changed last July. (Iris is the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost so she’s genetically blessed to begin with.) Last summer she was cast in the FX series Pistol, about the British punk scene, and she decided her long brown hair wasn’t radical enough. That’s when she shaved off all her hair and bleached the roots platinum. She says she immediately felt liberated and we think she looks AMAZING. Besides looking good, Iris is studying art and design at the London university Central Saint Martins. Above, she attended the Dior show at Paris Fashion Week.

VANESSA LACHEY WANTS YOU TO WATCH HER SHOW

It’s a big day for Vanessa Lachey – she’s in New York promoting her new CBS series NCIS: Hawai’i. (That’s the Hawaiian language spelling) It’s a big deal for the former Miss Teen USA because this is her first leading role AND she is the FIRST female lead in an NCIS series spin-off. Naturally she was thrilled when she got the job, and equally thrilled when her husband Nick Lachey (singer, 98 Degrees) didn’t give her a hard time about working in Hawaii. He decided they should move the whole family (they have 3 kids) to Hawaii while she’s filming there. How long the family stays there depends on ratings – which were only okay for the first episode last week. That’s why Vanessa is in New York talking up the series.

ELIZABETH HURLEY’S MODEL SON DAMIAN CAN STRIKE A POSE

We find the relationship between Elizabeth Hurley and her son actor/model Damian, 19, weirdly fascinating. Not only do they look almost exactly alike, but they have the SAME haircut. (Damian looks nothing like his wealthy father Steve Bing, who killed himself last year by jumping out the window of his 27th floor Century City apartment.) Elizabeth and Damian turned up at the Versace show in Milan – both showing some skin- but at least Damian had the sense not to wear a Versace gold print. Note that Damian is not above striking some open-mouth model poses for paparazzi. Elizabeth says Damian is an A student and she hopes he will continue with his education and just do modeling on the side, but that seems improbable…

OLD AND NEW HOLLYWOOD COLLIDE AT MOTION PICTURE MUSEUM OPENING

We predict that someday the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will give the Met Gala some serious competition- if one can judge by the opening night fundraising party. Old and new Hollywood turned up for this event last night, which has been a long time coming. (We regret that Debbie Reynolds didn’t live long enough to see her dream come true.) Lady Gaga sang jazzy old songs with a big band and made a point to chat with Cher. Of course Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson celebrated the opening, along with Katy Perry, Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, John Waters, and Issa Rae. We heard that Hollywood’s original playboy Warren Beatty and his wife Annette Bening got a lot of attention from the crowd. One of Warren’s exes, Diane Keaton, would have been there, but she was busy shooting a video with Justin Bieber!

As if they aren’t tall enough already, models are clomping up and down the streets of Milan in huge platform boots because it happens to be Fashion Week. WILL KIM CATTRALL SHOW HER LOVE FOR WILLIE GARSON?

If you were saddened about the sudden death of Sex & the City actor Willie Garson (he played Carrie’s gay BF Sanford) you can imagine how the rest of the cast and crew feel. We hear that And Just Like That writers plan to honor Willie by writing an episode all about Sanford’s “death” – and here’s the BIG news: they want Kim Cattrall to guest on this special episode dedicated to Willie and his character. And she has NOT said no! How could she? Like her costars, Kim WAS fond of Willie and this would be a great way for her to mend fences with the SATC people and finish off her connection to the show in a nice way. We shall see…

PRINCE HARRY IS THE LUCKY ONE

Meghan Markle has given Prince Harry the best of both worlds. They are in New York to take part in the Global Citizen Live 24 hour worldwide event in Central Park promoting equal access to covid vaccine. Besides continuing their charity work, the couple has a highly profitable deal with Netflix to create content and Meghan is working on an animated feature about a 12 year old girl who becomes inspired by successful women in history. Of course they are meeting and working with the most prominent people in New York and Hollywood. Besides their flourishing business lives, they are living a dreamy life near the beach in idyllic Santa Barbara with their young son and daughter born in June. Isn’t that better than being stifled in the palace and told what to do every day? Meghan has given Harry a wonderful and enviable life…
