One of the top stories of the week was also one of the most unexpected- the split between singer Jelly Roll and his wife of nearly 10 years, Bunnie XO. Here’s what we know. After losing hundreds of pounds and reclaiming his health, Jelly has also become more religious, and he suddenly was NOT thrilled with the raunchy nature of his wife’s podcast. He wanted her to embrace his faith and while she was open, she wasn’t about to change her identity or tone down her talk to please him. They secretly entered therapy about 6 months ago, but finally agreed they couldn’t find a path forward to continue their marriage.
Timothee Chalamet was in the news when he declared something along the lines that he’d rather be at a Knicks game than at the Oscars! We can tell you this. Timothee was invited to speak at the Knick’s’ championship parade in NYC, which took place on June 18, and now he’s trying to BUY a small minority stake in the team. Although he is successful , Timothee is far from a billionaire , but luckily his girlfriend Kylie Jenner IS , so they formed an LLC investment company in hopes of acquiring at least a part of the team.
Armie Hammer was all over the news for his starring role in his comeback movie, Citizen Vigilante ,as well as for news that he has yet to inherit a penny of his late father Michael’s fortune. We can tell you this. Armie and his brother Viktor are in the final stages of dealing with the probate handling Michael’s estate , and everything should be settled before the end of the year. Much of the fortune (estimated to be a half a billion dollars) will be placed in trusts ,but when the dust finally settles and the ink dries, Armie and his brother should be set for life.
Rihanna and her baby daddy A$AP Rocky made headlines for returning to Los Angeles (the first time since March when shots were fired at her Beverly Hills home). Here’s the latest. Rihanna secretly met with a realtor about placing the home on the market because she feels it’s too accessible. Even though she now has armed guards protecting the house around the clock , she fears the home is jinxed and has bad energy. As my source explains, Rihanna is from Barbados and can be quite superstitious – that’s why she’s looking to move out of the multimillion dollar mansion.
Donald Trump was in the news and he wasn’t necessarily happy about it. Donald turned 80 and celebrated with a series of UFC fights on the White House grounds. Here’s what we know. Donald isn’t thrilled about entering a new decade so he insisted that all birthday references NOT include his age. But that not the only reason he wasn’t particularly happy. Days before the big event, his wife Melania and he got into a disagreement , and she decided at the last minute to skip his birthday celebration. We know this. As Donald’s time as President winds down Melania is feeling less and less obligation to do ANYTHING with him. My source says at this point she won’t divorce him , but she iS living her own life , and only does the things with Donald that she wants to. In case you were wondering, she didn’t get him a birthday gift.
Nicki Minaj made headlines when she revealed she regretted some of her more risqué and explicit lyrics. We just heard this. The controversial rapper who is suddenly full core MAGA is planning to re-record some of her biggest hits and clean up the x rated lyrics to make them more family friendly. If that wasn’t enough , Nicki is also working on some new rap songs with Christian lyrics. As my source explains, her fans have abandoned her since she went MAGA , so now she’s trying to appeal to a completely different audience.
Vice president JD Vance made the news for his appearance on The View. The gals of the show aren’t usually fans , but my source says that after the cameras stopped rolling the VP and the hosts spent some time in private and the conversation was actually civil and productive. We can tell you this. The hosts gifted the VP with swag including sweatshirts, hats and coffee cups and in return he sent them autographed copies of his best selling book, Hillbilly Elegy. Get this. The appearance was so successful that now the gals are trying to book Donald Trump as a guest. This would be HUGE , since they pretty much have all expressed their disdain for him and his administration. Stay tuned.
