Nope, it’s not Katie Holmes with a new boyfriend, (wouldn’t that be nice?) but she DOES have a new movie. Katie’s filming a Spike Lee production “Mania Days” in Yonkers, and Canadian actor Luke Kirby plays her boyfriend (above.) The story is about two manic depressives who meet in a hospital and begin a romance that brings out all the ups and downs of their condition.

Katie seems like a decent person, so I hope she can find someone who will treat her right. She sure found out that her teenage fantasy of being married to Tom Cruise wasn’t a walk in the park, not to mention all the Scientology bullshit that she had to put up with, so I think she deserves some freedom and some happiness. And good for her that she’s reining Suri in a little bit. Yes, she’s a privileged child, but Tom took that to ridiculous lengths. You don’t show love to a child by flying her everywhere on a private jet, spoiling her rotten, and making her feel she’s entitled to that. She needs his time, to spend with her to teach her things she needs to know to be a decent, caring, productive adult. He has to have more money than Bill Gates by now, so why does he keep churning out crappy movies? When was the last big hit he had? I’ve never been a huge fan of his, but his actions for the past 5 years has made me even less of one.
The term is “bipolar” not manic depressive. Join the 21st century. Actually, it might help to join the 20th first, then try 21st.
I think any man would think twice before trying to hook up with her on a permanent basis. Scientolgists have the money and many of their brain-washed idiots would jump at the chance to be paid to spy on her and Suri.
