JUDE LAYS DOWN THE LAW FOR RAFFERTY

judecut1_1.jpgJude Law was shopping at The Grove recently with his son Rafferty,10, and they were browsing the electronics and video games. Rafferty pounced on several items he wanted but Jude told him “No – pick just one thing.” Rafferty said he wanted three and Jude said evenly “One more chance.” Still, Rafferty insisted on three. So Jude patiently explained to Rafferty that HE is the father and Rafferty should listen to him and do as he says. They left the store with nothing. Jude has told friends that it’s difficult – but he’s determined that his kids won’t grow up spoiled like so many Hollywood children. Judging by this photo, Rafferty is going to grow up DANGEROUSLY good looking.

  1. FINALLY…a famous father who actually parents his own child. Way to go Jude!

  2. He is adorable but I really disagree with showing photos of the kids, neither internet or magazines. And I read the gossip, it’s fun, but the kid’s photos shouldn’t be there, even Gwen’s, as cute as he is.

  3. cute kids usually grow up to be average or below average looking adults…. and ugly kids usually grow up to be knock outs.. and very insecure too.

  4. its really nice to see a parent famous or otherwise to not cave in to the demands of the child. he’s was right. he’s the dad and rafferty is the child. that’s all that needs to be said. too many times parents give in to the children just because its easier then dealing with a tantrum or they feel guilty.

  5. Raff looks exactly like Jude when he was that age so I guess that there will be little chance of him growing up ugly.
Yeah, I have read a lot of articles that said Jude and Sadie do not spoil their kids. On location on his shoots, Jude was more likely to take his kids to the museums than to the amusement parks like he did in Chicago.

  6. Jude himself has trouble picking only one of anything, (e.g. women) so he might want to cut the kid some slack!
