HARRY HAMLIN HAS AN INTERESTING PAST

Who’s that guy with Harry Hamlin? It’s easy forget that Harry Hamlin has a 41 year old SON because his two daughters Amelia and Delilah are so busy being celebrities. But some of you may remember that back in the 80’s, long before Lisa Rinna, he had a lengthy fling with the original Bond girl Ursula Andress. He was 28 and she was 44. They met while costarring in the movie Clash of the Titans together in Italy. Harry stayed in Rome for three years with her and she gave birth to Dimitri Hamlin. Genetically gifted Dimitri has modeled (Abercrombie & Fitch among other places) – he’s been a DJ and an actor – not sure what he’s up to lately, but whenever he’s in LA, he spends time with his dad.

Hands down, the most iconic Bond girl continues to be Ursula Andress who played Honey Ryder in “Dr No.” Her photo walking out of the ocean is as famous as Farrah Fawcett’s red bathing suit poster. Back in 1962, James Bond’s “girls” were ridiculously over-sexed playthings who were all too willing to jump into bed with 007. Not exactly a flattering portrait of the female sex. Every time a new James Bond film is released, Swiss- born Ursula Andress is trotted out for the festivities. It’s been fifty years since Dr No, and Ursula still looks good at 76.
