Since he landed his starring role on The Mentalist, Australian born Simon Baker and his wife have become an American citizens. Now that he lives in Los Angeles, he’s become a huge fan of The Lakers. Simon took his cute youngest son Harry, 9, to a game at Staples Center.

Australian actor Simon Baker has put down roots in Los Angeles and he’s ready to become an American citizen. ”The Mentalist” star has lived in LA for 13 years with his actress wife Rebecca Rigg and three children. When President Obama was elected, Simon was so pleased that made up his mind to become an American citizen. But he doesn’t want his family to be too swept away by show business – they still visit Australia regularly and eat Vegemite.
