The Honest Company

JESSICA ALBA UNDERESTIMATED OPRAH’S POWER

Sometimes a shout out from Oprah Winfrey isn’t a good thing – just ask Jessica Alba. Oprah included the family pajamas by Jessica’s company, Honest Baby Clothes on her annual holiday list of favorite things, causing a MASSIVE surge in sales! The problem is Jessica didn’t realize HOW  powerful Oprah is, and her company wasn’t prepared for the flood of nonstop orders. According to an insider, there are SO many orders backed up for the holiday family pajamas that some customers won’t get them in time for their holiday photos or Christmas cards. Frantic Jessica had to hire more people to handle all the unexpected business and complaints about late shipping.

JESSICA ALBA USES HER OWN HONEST PRODUCTS

Jessica Alba may be a movie star and a successful businesswoman, but she does do her own shopping – at least sometimes. She and her family are in Kauai, Hawaii for the holidays and she went by herself to the local Foodland supermarket to stock up for the weekend. She even bought a few of her own products from The Honest Co, which is now worth a billion dollars! Looks like fireworks are on the menu for the New Year also….

JESSICA ALBA: HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Jessica Alba, 35, seems like one of those really involved Hollywood mothers. She’s frequently seen in the company of her two daughters Honor, 8, and Haven, 5, even though she has a billion dollar business to take care of. She doesn’t flaunt her children, but she doesn’t hide them from photographers either. Jessica took her girls to a toy store after school to make the first day back to classes more palatable. It’s startling to realize that Jessica, who mainly appears in teen and horror movies, has a net worth of 340 million thanks to her Honest Company that produces toxin-free home products. Yep, she’s WAY ahead of Gwyneth…

JESSICA ALBA: HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY

Jessica Alba is fast becoming one of our Hollywood fashion favorites. She doesn’t look like just another cookie-cutter starlet, nor is she way too sexy. The fact that she’s a smart businesswoman doesn’t hurt, either. Last year she launched The Honest Company that provides natural diapers and household items. She’s also writing a book called The Honest Life, which is coming out next year along with her movie “Escape From Planet Earth.”
