Kendra Wilkinson put on a brave face at LAX where she was about to board a plane for Indianapolis. That’s where she lives with her ball player husband Hank Baskett and their new baby Hank Jr, whether she likes it or not. Former “Girls Next Door” star Kendra looks like she already misses her friends in Hollywood and all her favorite clubs and fancy restaurants. She had a great time partying during Oscar week and hung around as long as she could, but eventually she HAS to go home. But she’ll be back!

Kendra Wilkinson has been having a tough time since she gave birth to her son Hank Jr, last December. The former star of “The Girls Next Door” admits she had post-partum depression after the baby came, partly because she moved to Indianapolis where her husband Hank Baskett plays ball, and she felt isolated. (And BORED too, we’re guessing.) To cheer herself up, she high-tailed it back to Hollywood where she dressed up and attended a pre-Oscar party at Beso.

THE PLAYBOY MANSION ISN’T WHAT IT USED TO BE

In 1972, Playboy had it’s highest circulation EVER – 7 million. It’s been downhill since then, (for MOST magazines) and Playboy is up for sale for 300 million. Hugh Hefner’s life hasn’t changed a lot – his previous three blonde “Girls Next Door” have been replaced by younger girls. (Above, Hef and his main girlfriend Crystal Harris plus the mischievous Shannon twins.) But the party attitude HAS evolved. Nowadays the mansion is more of a venue – rented out for events and parties. And there have been cutbacks on the weekly “movie night” – there is no longer a free buffet dinner for the fifty or sixty guests! What will all those hungry moochers DO?

Kendra Wilkinson is promoting her new E! reality show like crazy – she appeared on the E! channel in Warsaw, Poland. (We assume the guy above is the Polish version of Ryan Seacrest.) “The Girls Next Door” was extremely popular in Europe – and language was no barrier. Her new show “Kendra” is about her new life outside the Playboy mansion and she knows she’s going to have to try HARDER. Without Playboy’s glamorous surroundings and social events, she’ll have to be awfully creative. Hef isn’t volunteering any help, either.

Kendra Wilkinson never felt bad about leaving the Playboy mansion and “The Girls Next Door” because she knew she was getting her own show on E! this fall. The “tomboy” of Hef’s original three blondes, Kendra’s show will be all about how she adjusts to living a somewhat normal life, without the staff and perks of the Playboy mansion. She has set up housekeeping with her football player boyfriend Hank Baskett. We used to hear that Hef spent many thousands of dollars a month on hairdressers to keep his girls blonde with abundant extensions. Since E! doesn’t pay for much, this service might be the one that Kendra misses most.

They met when Nick directed Bridget in the sorority thriller “The Telling.” He happens to be Hollywood royalty – he’s the grandson of movie pioneer Hal Roach and his father was an astronaut.

Hugh Hefner hasn’t openly addressed the rumors that his Girls Next Door are all moving out on him but he seemed to be having a good time with Holly and Kendra while filming another segment of the show last night at STK. He and the Girls and several other decorative Playmates partied together. Holly Madison contentedly stuck to his side most of the night, and it’s apparent that if any of the Girls leave the show, it won’t be HER.

HOLLY MADISON IS USING CRISS ANGEL TO MAKE HEF JEALOUS

Holly Madison is using the oldest trick in the book to push Hugh >Hefner into marrying her. She’s been pressuring the ageing Playboy mogul for years because she wants a wedding and she wants children -not to mention financial security. Hef, who has yet to divorce his last wife, seemed to be loosening up on the baby angle because they were seen together a few months ago in the office of a fertility doctor. Apparently nothing came of it, and now Holly’s pulling out the big guns – in the form of a younger better looking guy: She’s making Hef jealous with Las Vegas illusionist Criss Angel. Of course, Holly and WE know that Criss is hardly boyfriend material and so far Hef doesn’t seem worried. It wouldn’t be easy for Holly to leave the luxurious Playboy mansion life. We wonder if she will. As for the other girls, they can be replaced and The Girls Next Door could continue.

She’s decided that a baby would be enough to make her happy, and Hef HAS tried to make that happen by seeing fertilization specialists with her. So she might get her wish. Looks like Holly Madison of The Girls Next Door is getting her wish! To have a baby with her boyfriend Hugh Hefner, that is. Holly has been rhapsodizing about motherhood for the last two seasons on the show and she brings it up every chance she gets. Hef was against it at first, but eventually he started to weaken to the idea (keep in mind this would be his THIRD family) because Holly was so desperate to be a mother. Recently, Holly and Hef were seen in the waiting room of a Beverly Hills gynecologist who specializes in in vitro fertilization. Other couples trying to get pregnant were thrilled to see the Playboy mogul in person. We guess it won’t be long before Holly has an announcement.
