Kanye West thought he’d slip into Balenciaga in New York and pick up a few things without being noticed. No such luck. Word got out fast that he was there, and a huge crowd started to gather outside, ogling him while he browsed. Police came to investigate, and they ended up escorting Kanye and his purchases back to his hotel.

Sunday afternoon at The Grove – especially before Christmas – is usually a mob scene, so imagine how surprised shoppers were to see Angelina Jolie and three of her six kids bouncing from store to store together! Heads turned, but the Jolie-Pitts weren’t really bothered by fans. Usually JUST out of camera range is the watchful bodyguard – but he occasionally stepped up to retrieve and carry the family’s accumulated shopping bags.

Who can’t identify with the look on Rosario Dawson’s face while shopping in New York! Rosario grew up in modest circumstances and she’s come a long way – now she can buy whatever she wants! She started out in 1995 in the Harmony Korine movie Kids and Rosario is probably best known for Rent. She’s always been a political activist and philanthropist – Rosario adopted a 12 year old girl in 2014. She’s been appearing in two TV series this year – Luke Cage and Jane the Virgin, and has two films coming out, so life is good. And she hasn’t forgotten the joy of shopping in Manhattan…

Resident Evil star Milla Jovovich found a husband (UK born director Paul W.S. Anderson) who likes to shop even more than she does. Ironically, Anderson’s first movie was an underground success called Shopping, and it was set in a dim future where disillusioned young people violently robbed stores for fun. It’s not often you see Hollywood husbands shopping voluntarily with their wives and apparently enjoying it. Paul likes to visit all the top Rodeo Drive stores plus Barneys, and he never seems to get bored. They’ve been married for nine years and have two kids and STILL enjoy checking out the stores together…

Not only did Angelina Jolie take her kids Shiloh and Vivienne to the Rose Bowl flea market for the first time in December (above,) but today both girls were seen shopping at Goodwill. Shiloh and Vivienne had a bodyguard keeping an eye on them while they rummaged through merchandise at an LA Goodwill store. It’s so great that these girls can experience the fun of “thrifting” like ordinary kids even though they have plenty of money. The sisters schlepped home bags full of records, books, clothing, and who knows WHAT else.

Looks like Jennifer Lopez decided it was time for Alex Rodriguez to upgrade his wardrobe for the new year. She’s wearing a long Tom Ford letter sweater with “Guccy” written on the back, and took Alex to Ford’s Rodeo Drive store. She picked out several sweaters and pants for him to try on and he modeled them for her. All of them looked better than the outfit he wore in, and Jennifer selected her favorites. Every time we see an unposed photo of Mark Wahlberg, 46, he has that scowly worried expression – probably left over from when he was a tough rapper. Rock stars get overwhelmed in Bed, Bath, & Beyond too! Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea have a list of necessities (including a teapot) and they’re on the hunt. Believe it or not, they are high school sweethearts who’ve been married for 28 years and have four kids. Unusual for a rocker. Dorothea, who runs their Soul Kitchen charities, says the fact that she always goes on tour with Jon has held the marriage together. We think the fact that they still SHOP together helps too .
