SHIA LEBEOUF IS PUTTING HIS LIFE ONSCREEN

Now THIS sounds like an unusual movie. Eccentric actor Shia LaBeouf is now filming Honey Boy, which HE co-wrote, and the story is based on his own rough relationship as a young actor with his alcoholic and drug- addicted father. Lucas Hedges is playing the Shia Role and Shia is playing his own father. (Hence the thinning hairline and fake belly shown in the photo with costar FKA Twigs) Keep in mind, Shia himself has been arrested a number of times for DUI and disorderly conduct involving alcohol. No one knows what part twigs is playing – this is her first movie role. Honey Boy is the nickname his father gave to Shia as a kid.

SHIA LABEOUF DOES IT AGAIN

“Fury” star Shia LaBeouf, 29, is a decent actor, but has always been something of a loose cannon- and that’s why people find him interesting. After sporting long shaggy hair and an unkempt beard, Shia had all the hair on his face and head shaved off. He looks a lot rougher, but pretty good. Shia’s car accidents, belligerent fistfights, and arrests make one wonder about substance abuse. Unlike other guys who get their arms tattooed, Shia gets his thighs tattooed. To top it off, he alternately declares that he is Jewish or Christian. Quite a character.

SHIA LABEOUF MIGHT ACTUALLY BE GROWING UP

“Fury” star Shia LaBeouf, 28, celebrated his sobriety and courtroom success with a take-out salad in New York. (During one drinking episode he claimed to have been raped at an art exhibit.) He recently finished filming the post apocalyptic drama “Man Down” in which he plays an adult role – a husband and father for a change, instead of a misunderstood young man. The rat-tail braid he acquired on the back of his neck continues to puzzle his fans.

WOMEN ARE NOT A PROBLEM FOR SHIA LABEOUF

Despite his inexplicable behavior, Shia LaBeouf has no trouble getting girlfriends. He showed up at a London screening of “Fury” with model/actress Mia Goth who costarred with him in “Nymphomaniac.” They’ve been together since completing the movie two years ago. Just last week, Shia was seen at Disneyland with actress Kate Mara (Rooney Mara’s sister) and he was actually smiling and seemed to be having a good time. Shia’s usual look is quite serious, as seen above. It was a black tie evening and Mia surprised observers by not wearing a stitch of make up – but when you’re a 21 year old model, you can get away with that.

Eccentricities Pink Shia LaBeouf

SHIA LABEOUF IS MORE THAN JUST ECCENTRIC

Shia LaBeouf remains an appealing actor in spite of his crazyisms. He’s always been a bit of a crackpot and a bigger drinker than anyone suspected. Shia appeared at the Berlin Film Festival wearing a brown paper bag on his head in some sort of protest about being famous. He’s been in bar brawls and a car accident that crushed his left hand, but that didn’t stop him from threatening a neighbor with a knife. He dabbled in “performance art” which only James Franco seemed to understand. Shia produced a short film and wrote comic books and was accused of plagerizing it all. His apology was plagerized also. After his arrest for disrupting a performance of Cabaret, he was seen going to AA meetings. His movie “Fury” with Brad Pitt comes out this week. (Above, Shia in pink spandex tights)

Fame Joaquin Phoenix Shia LaBeouf

SHIA LABEOUF: ANOTHER “FAME” MELTDOWN? IS IT REALLY THAT AGONIZING BEING AN ACTOR?

Shia LaBeouf proved to himself that he still has plenty of fans with that “art” stunt last weekend. He commandeered a small art gallery on Beverly Blvd and received visitors with a bag on his head emphasizing his dislike of being “famous.” We drove by several times and there were always at least a hundred people in line around the block to see him, and a burly bodyguard at the door keeping order. We can’t help thinking he’s following the lead of Joaquin Phoenix who tried to convince us that he dropped out of the movie business to become a rapper with an aversion to bathing. He ditched the idea as soon as a good movie offer came along and we think Shia will too.

ANGRY YOUNG MAN SHIA LEBEOUF FINDS TIME FOR HIS FANS

Shia LaBeouf turned up at the same New York premier as Ireland Baldwin – after her father Alec got him fired from the Broadway play in which they were costarring. Transformers star Shia has dated some beautiful women – including Megan Fox, Carey Mulligan, and Isabel Lucas, but he never really seems happy. He appears to take himself rather seriously and he’s had tangles with the law, car accidents, and boozy bar fights. (At least he acknowledges his fans, above) Are we crazy or is his hair thinning on top?

MARILYN MANSON’S DATE DIDN’T WANT TO SHOW HER FACE EITHER

Marilyn Manson tapped Shia LaBeouf to collaborate with him on a short film to promote his new album “Born Villain.” Bearded Shia and his photographer girlfriend Karolyn Pho turned up at the premier showing this weekend at The Silent Movie Theater in Hollywood. Most mystifying is Marilyn and his new haircut, with a woman wearing a mask and VERY peculiar dress with a cut out crotch and what appears to be a merkin. You can’t blame her for wearing a mask. The woman claimed to be China Chow– but who knows? However the dress will not soon be forgotten.

Shia LaBeouf casually mentioned in an interview that he and Megan Fox “hooked up” while working together on the Transformers set, but our readers knew about THAT three years ago! In fact we went a step further and told you that Megan harbored a massive CRUSH on Shia and would have dropped her fiancee Brian Austin Green in a minute for Shia, but her costar never took their fling as seriously as she did. For awhile she was in an agony of indecision over whether to stay with Brian or not. As it turns out, she probably married the right guy- Brian seems good for her.

WHY MEGAN FOX COULDN’T MARRY BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN FAST ENOUGH

We’re not at ALL surprised that Megan Fox suddenly decided to marry Brian Austin Green. (A tiny ceremony, June 24, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hawaii.) Gorgeous Megan seems to have lost all her self-confidence and she took the easy and safe way out. She was madly in love with her Transformers costar Shia LaBeouf, but that didn’t work out, and she returned to her longtime BF Brian. It was a shock when she lost her lucrative Transformers 3 job so easily and was REPLACED so quickly by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Then her movie “Jonah Hex” flopped miserably last week. It was all too much – the insecure Megan grabbed her life support – the reliable Brian, who’s more than willing to take care of her.
