ONE OF TOM CRUISE’S SLAVE LABORERS SPEAKS OUT

Another of Tom Cruise’s slave laborers has sued the Church of Scientology for ruining his life. According to Radaronline.com, Daniel Montalvo filed suit against his parents, Scientology, and its offshoot Sea Org, for engaging in slave labor practices and forcing him, as a minor, to work over 100 hours a week for $25 to $50. In 1996, when Daniel was a child, his parents joined Sea Org, whose rules don’t allow parents to raise their children.(!) His care was handed over to the church and he was dressed up in a naval uniform and at the age of six forced to sign a billion year contract binding him to Sea Org. He wasn’t allowed to watch the news or have internet access, and went to school one day a week at best. He spent the rest of his time working 40 to 100 hours a week – this eventually included working on two motorcycles, an airplane hangar and a luxury SUV for Tom Cruise. All this for “the betterment of mankind.” Let’s hope more former Scientologists work up the courage to sue the church.
Of interest is the fact that church spokesperson Tommy Davis has insisted that whatever benefits Cruise received from the church “pales in comparison to the benefits the church has received from Mr Cruise’s many years of volunteer efforts.”
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise’s attorney states that “The church of Scientology has never provided Mr Cruise with any free services.”
