MEGHAN HAS POLITICAL ASPIRATIONS FOR PRINCE HARRY

Can you imagine Prince Harry as Governor of California?  WE can’t, but Meghan Markle can! Keep in mind California’s governor Gavin Newsom won’t be able to run for re-election in 2026 due to term limits. So the job will be up for grabs. Aspiring Meghan feels Harry has what it takes to make it in US politics. Although he could never become president (because he wasn’t born here) there’s nothing stopping him from running for other offices – once he officially becomes a US CITIZEN as opposed to a permanent resident. According to our source, Harry has already started the process to obtain DUAL citizenship. He’ll keep his UK passport, but also hold an American one. After he achieves THAT goal, Meghan intends to encourage his run for SOME SORT of political office…

GEORGE SANTOS: DENY EVERYTHING AND FORGE AHEAD!

 

Sometimes we just can’t resist a good piece of political gossip and let’s face it, disgraced NY Congressman George Santos seems to always have something new for us  to dish about.  According to a Washington DC source, George’s latest scheme is a real doozy. As the ethics committee wades through his alleged and  numerous crimes, George is prepared to SWITCH political parties from Republican to Democrat in a last ditch effort to save his seat! George’s reasoning is as convoluted as his resume, but the source explains George feels he might be able to hold onto his seat with his “plan.”

SARA FOSTER JUMPED TO CONCLUSIONS

Nepo baby (onetime reality star and aspiring fashion designer) Sara Foster (her dad is music mogul David)) recently made headlines when she took to social media and slammed San Francisco as a Sh*thole and blamed the city’s liberal leaders. “I am a registered Democrat and feel confident saying liberal politics (soft on crime) are ruining cities.” This happened after the assumed random murder of CashApp founder Bob Lee. Now we know that a business associate of Bob has been arrested in his murder, but Sara is still in hot water with her family. According to a friend, liberal David and his wife Katherine McPhee weren’t happy with Sara’s post on the murder and they advised her to NOT speak out so quickly. The post also didn’t sit well with David and Katherine’s close friends including Cher and Barbra Streisand, so when the arrest was made, they advised Sara to clean up her comments. The usually rebellious Sara removed her post and is keeping her political thoughts to herself for now.

RuPaul is ready to sashay his way right into Washington,DC. The gender-bending TV star is upset over the recent anti-drag bills that have been enacted into law in various states. He recently posted to his social media urging people to vote, but that’s only the beginning. Now he’s planning to throw his wig in the ring and run for office…in the conservative state of Wyoming! Ru is 62-years-old and is gearing up for the next chapter of his life – THAT’S why he thinks it’s the perfect time to get political. When he’s not performing in drag, Ru and his husband, Georges LeBar live on a 60,000 acre ranch in Wyoming, so he’s planning to run for a congressional seat from there. We can’t help wondering how he looks as a cowgirl…

POLITICS DIDN’T AGREE WITH DR OZ

Dr. Oz wants his old life back! The TV doc gave up his lucrative career to run for the US Senate from Pennsylvania, but his fame didn’t draw voters and and he suffered a humiliating and expensive defeat. He’s now trying to pick up the pieces and return to the greener pastures of television. His conservative right-wing campaign turned off most of Hollywood, including the person responsible for his success, Oprah Winfrey, so now the defeated doc is negotiating with FOX News for a show. Our source says that Oz’s political beliefs and nasty campaign all but destroyed his chances of returning to his former TV glory, and that’s why he’s turned to the conservative network in hopes of landing a show. Nothing has been green-lit YET, but there have been some significant meetings.

When it comes to buttering up people in high places, John Legend is no slouch. He recently caused quite a commotion when his expensive Porsche was stolen outside a recording studio. The thief was caught, his Porsche was returned, and the case was accused of getting “preferential treatment” from the LA District Attorney’s office because he supported and raised a lot of money for the unpopular DA George Gascon’s re-election. (he lost) The Porsche incident was described as “a slap in the face” to other crime victims. Legend is in the habit of giving his support to DA’s in other states too. Last week he was at the star-studded White House State Dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron, rubbing elbows with more influential people who might “appreciate” his support…

THIS IS WHY ALEC BALDWIN SHOULD NEVER RUN FOR OFFICE

Every once in awhile, despite his wife’s soothing efforts, Alec Baldwin loses his temper in a big way – for a relatively small reason. It’s funny that Alec had a “family member” standing and holding a parking space in front of his NY building as he pulled up in a Cadillac. Of course one of those obnoxious NY drivers scooted into the space right in front of Alec and he couldn’t help popping the guy in the face as he fed the meter. Alec was arrested, and it’s not the first time. His wife Hilaria tries to calm him with meditation and breathing exercises, but Alec’s temper often prevails. A bad trait for a politician…

ANDY COHEN HAS MORE CLOUT THAN HE REALIZED

Andy Cohen’s dog Wacha can’t help looking lovingly up at his owner while they take their daily walk in the West Village. Andy noticed one block that he usually traversed was frequently littered with trash. He complained loudly and was surprised when the block was suddenly cleaned up. Delighted with his accomplishment, Andy declared “I should run for mayor!” His online followers encouraged him to get into politics, but he’s too busy with “Watch What Happens Live” for now.

OPRAH AND DONALD TRUMP HAVE HISTORY TOGETHER

The Hollywood Reporter dug up an interesting tidbit about Oprah and Donald Trump. (If you thought the idea of Oprah Winfrey being friendly at one time with Harvey Weinstein was surprising – this is another jolt.) Donald Trump appeared on her talk show in 1988 and Oprah quizzed him about full page newspaper ads he’d taken out to protest US foreign policy. Trump said he was tired of the country being ripped off and Oprah brought up the idea of Trump running for office. Forward to 1999 when Trump was on The Larry King Show – he toyed with the idea of running for president. When Larry asked him who he’d like for Vice President, Trump replied “Oprah – I love Oprah – she’d be my first choice.”
