Apparently Sharon Stone wants to advertise the fact that she is now available (she and her younger boyfriend split recently) so she walked around Paris with her 8 year old son Laird wearing a surprisingly sheer t shirt – and no bra. Hollywood has always had an affinity for high society so why were we surprised to hear that many actors present their teenage daughters at the ultra-fancy Crillon Debutante Ball in Paris each November? At the charity ball, 25 daughters of prominent international families are presented each year with all the protocol and hifalutin’ manners and designer gowns you can imagine. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scout and Tallulah Willis have been “presented,” along with the female offspring of Sylvester Stallone, Rosanna Arquette, Andie MacDowell, and Carrie Fisher. You can’t help but like Jessica Chastain’s excitement over seeing her own YSL ad in Paris on a huge building. The two time Oscar nominee is in Paris for Fashion Week – she was driving by the Seine River and flipped when she saw her own image several stories high. Thrilled, she just HAD to stop and get a photo and post it on Facebook.
After a whirlwind week of Paris fashion shows, pregnant Kim arrived at de Gaulle Airport dressed to the nines in white from head to toe. Her puff shoulder coat has a lot of detailing to camouflage her widening body. But the whole outfit looks like it was intended for a tall model because the sleeves and pants are so long. No time for alterations, Kim?

Gareth Pugh’s Paris fashion collection pulled in both Cher and Fergie and the singers bonded during the runway show. They both loved the slightly goth, slightly 70’s, but ultra futuristic designs. Cher immediately tweeted her adoration for the young designer but she couldn’t spell his name. After the show Cher and pregnant Fergie were in such a fashion frenzy that they just HAD to hit a few of Paris’s finest stores together.

Another fashionista in the Beckham family! Victoria and David Beckham have style to burn, so it’s not surprising that their progeny are following in their footsteps. Romeo is only ten years old but he’s already done some modeling and he’s starting to look more and more like his dad. Above, in Paris, he’s rocking sunglasses and a Burberry jacket, cool hair, and tons of attitude.
We’re starting to think those rumors about Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez having relationship problems are true. Olivier was counting on moving Halle and Nahla to Paris where Halle claimed they would be less harassed by paparazzi, but the judge ruled against it. Olivier has an acting career in Paris and his business contacts and friends are there. He feels disconnected in Hollywood, where he doesn’t have much to do. He’s been visiting Paris alone a lot and leaving Halle home with Nahla. This will be a huge obstacle for the couple to overcome.
The Thalys high speed train in Paris has been decorated with drawings and the trademark sailor stripes of one of our all time favorite designers, Jean Paul Gaultier. We applaud France for finding a stylish way to avoid graffiti!
Hilary Swank, 38, broke up with her agent boyfriend John Campisi this summer and she already has a new love interest. In fact, she’s been staying at the Paris apartment of Laurent Fleury, a successful French real estate broker. The couple recently returned to Los Angeles while Hilary films her new movie “You’re Not You” about a woman with Lou Gehrig’s disease – and we hope it’s not as depressing as it sounds. Psy brought his Gangnam Style to Paris and the usually unflappable French went crazy for him. He performed in front of the Eiffel Tower and attracted an enthusiastic audience of thousands. It’s funny how the whole world seems to get a kick out of him.
