WHITNEY HOUSTON’S FAMILY IS ACCUSING ONE ANOTHER OF LEAKING DEATH PHOTOS

The worst nightmare of Whitney Houston’s family has come true. A photo of her in her open casket is on the cover of The Enquirer. (Why the family didn’t have a closed casket after the hotel photos leaked is a mystery to us, but…) Of course this appalling photo raises the question of WHO DID IT? Who betrayed the grieving family and sold this photo? Everyone is pointing a finger at each other, but let’s consider the facts. It’s most likely someone rather hard up for money. Whitney’s questionable brother? We doubt if the culprit is actually family. We deduce that an entourage member who is suddenly completely jobless and without resources, is guilty. We wonder if this cover will sell like Elvis did…

THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER CORRECTLY PREDICTED MICHAEL JACKSON’S DEATH

Photo via: Popbytes

We just happened to come across this cover of The National Enquirer dated January 12, 2009. Note that in the upper right hand corner the headline says “Michael Jackson – Six Months to Live!” Nobody paid much attention to that prediction until Michael’s death on June 25, 2009 – slightly less than SIX MONTHS later! They were RIGHT! You have to give The Enquirer credit where credit is due.

THE ENQUIRER HAS NO MERCY FOR CHEATING CELEBRITY HUSBANDS

Today our astute colleague Cindy Adams was musing in her NY Post column about WHAT might have triggered Tiger Woods’ wife Elin to sense that her husband was cheating and examine his cell phone. The trigger, of course, was the Rachel Uchitel expose in the National Enquirer that week that opened that huge can of worms! Let’s give credit where credit is due. If it weren’t for the Enquirer, NONE of these sordid stories about Tiger would have become public. And all of his mistresses would have a LOT less money. The Enquirer has become the enemy of male celebrities having affairs. Countless trysts have been revealed by the tabloid – from Bill Clinton, Gary Hart, and Frank Gifford, to John Edwards, Josh Duhamel, and Tiger. You can bet in the future that even more girls will be lining up to sell their stories. The Enquirer has become Hollywood’s moral watchdog and we love them for it!

JOHN EDWARDS: ANOTHER POLITICIAN EXPOSED BY THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER

John Edwards finally admitted the National Enquirer was RIGHT when they exposed the former presidential contender’s double life: his affair with Rielle Hunter, his love child, and the elaborate cover-up. Rielle has been receiving $15000 a month in hush money from a Dallas friend of Edwards. Edwards’ former aide Andrew Young has been moved into a 5.6 million dollar mansion in Santa Barbara – HE claims to be the father of Rielle’s new baby. But the baby’s birth certificate lists no father. The Enquirer caught Edwards visiting mother and baby at the Beverly Hilton hotel and he panicked and hid in the mensroom until hotel security escorted him off hotel grounds. The deceitful situation looks even worse because John’s wife Elizabeth is battling a recurrence of breast cancer. Now we’re waiting for Rachael Ray to admit her husband paid hookers to spit on him – ANOTHER of the Enquirer’s great scoops.

MORGAN FREEMAN'S WIFE SAYS IT'S OVER

The National Enquirer was right all along when they said that Morgan Freeman’s wife Myrna had consulted a divorce lawyer. She suspected that Morgan was having an affair with a friend of hers. Now that he’s been caught red-handed in a car accident with another woman, the news of his impending divorce has been verified by his business partner. However,The Enquirer doesn’t think his elusive passenger, Demaris Meyer, is the woman his wife suspects he cheated with. To her credit, Myrna, who was working out of town, offered to come to the hospital after the accident but Morgan told her not to. The Enquirer has better scoops than all those other “entertainment” magazines put together. We love tabloids!
