It looks like Travis Barker drummed his way into Rihanna’s good graces. Last year he started giving her drum lessons so she could do some drumming during her concerts. They became buddies and made some appearances together. When Rihanna split with Matt Kemp recently, Travis stepped in and now they’re MORE than friends. Besides drumming, they have a mutual love of publicity so this might be a fun romance.
Much to our surprise, Rihanna’s originally fixed up ”romance” with Matt Kemp is developing nicely. Reps for Rihanna and Matt, a Dodger, put the two together for publicity reasons a few months back. Rihanna wanted to look like she had a boyfriend and had moved on from the Chris Brown incident, and little known Matt Kemp needed some publicity- so they were a great match. They hung out and were photographed together, and a funny thing happened- they struck up a friendship.
