Every once in awhile Mariah Carey makes a big fashion error – as is illustrated here. Her silver tank top is totally unflattering (especially on a hot day) and reminds one of a potato wrapped in foil. Apparently no one in her entourage wanted to be the one to tell her she didn’t look so hot. Fortunately, she was photographed shopping in Malibu so maybe she found something else to wear.

The usually dapper Cannon looks like a total geek and Mariah’s billionaire boyfriend is bound to shine by comparison. One man was not enough to get Mariah Carey, 45, safely onto a yacht in her ridiculous shoes. She took a tumble on the stairs and held onto her Celine bag for dear life. One security guy caught her mid-fall and another took her other arm to get her down the stairs intact. It was, of course, her new boyfriend James Packer’s huge yacht in Ibiza. He’s a 47 year old Australian tycoon worth 4.7 billion who has been pursuing Mariah for years. (And he has a full head of hair!) She finally said yes and it’s been smooth sailing ever since…

Mariah Carey looks healthy and happy in Paris- she has a large and enthusiastic number of French fans to cheer her up. She orchestrated a visit to Disneyland in Paris for her kids Moroccan and Monroe and she and her entourage left the Peninsula Hotel Sunday morning with the excited twins. Everyone wore sensible shoes for the day EXCEPT Mariah, who chose stilettos. (Ouch!) As she loaded the kids into the car it became apparent that her tramp stamp has been altered and Nick Cannon’s name was removed.

Nick Cannon seems to be having a LOT more fun single than his estranged wife Mariah Carey. The divorce is heating up with Nick demanding custody of their twins and a 30 million dollar pay-off. Mariah insists that she will only give him 10 million according to their pre-nup. So what did Nick do? He made a deal to write a tell-all about their marriage with publisher Simon and Schuster, according to The Daily Mail. Mariah’s extravagant idiosyncrasies and self-indulgent behavior is bound to make VERY interesting reading.

Mariah looks really pretty – but what world is she living in? She went to visit her godmother Joan Boyce’s jewelry store in Aspen wearing a long black gown and high heels. Did she forget about the snow?

There are few things more revealing than celebrity demands- everyone LOVES to hear about self-indulgence! In Andy Cohen’s book, “The Andy Cohen Diaries” he dished about backstage experiences with celebrities on his Bravo talk show “Watch What Happens Live.” And of course the most extravagant demands came from superstar guest Mariah Carey. She actually requested to trade seats with host Andy so she could showcase her better side, along with specific lighting requirements. Andy was presented with a list of things NOT to be mentioned – most of them were the names of other female singers. On top of it, she showed up TWO hours late – keeping the restless audience trapped in their seats. In spite of her antics, Andy loved having Mariah on the show and wants her back!
Uh-oh. Mariah Carey just got another reason to rue the day she urged her husband Nick Cannon to pursue his own career. NBC has chosen Nick to host a reboot of the popular 80’s-90’s show “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” that was originally hosted by Robin Leach. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series will feature some of the young tech billionaires and their whimsical spending habits and hobbies. The pilot is in the works. Nick’s career has been on an upward trajectory since he hooked up with his now estranged wife Mariah. (We have a feeling Robin Leach won’t be thrilled to hear about this either.)

Nick Cannon seems a lot happier and busier since he and Mariah Carey separated. Actually his inability to say no to almost any job offer became a problem for Mariah – he was never home. Of Course Nick likes to point out that he was earning lots of money for the family – he didn’t want to feel like a kept man. He’s walking away from the marriage with a much more substantial career. One thing hasn’t gotten better – his style. He was always dressed to the max in sleek suits with Mariah, and now he’s reverted back to boyish sweats.

If there were any doubts about Mariah Carey being in a bad place right now, they’ve disappeared since recent concert photos from China surfaced. Mariah started her Elusive Chanteuse tour in Tokyo where her performance was an embarrassment because she couldn’t hit the high notes – or any notes for that matter. Audience members wondered if she was drunk. Reviews were deplorable. The show moved on to China where her wardrobe didn’t do her any favors, to put it mildly. Mariah’s underwear was plainly visible under a too-tight miniskirt. Is it the shock of having an album flop or the shock of getting a divorce messing up her mind?
