JOSH DUHAMEL: FATHER OF THE WEEK

Little did popsinger Fergie realize when she married Josh Duhamel that he would absolutely LOVE being a father. Most handsome 6’4” actors (and many men in general) are way too busy to spend a lot of time with their kids, but Josh is different. Josh and his two year old son Axl are constantly seen together. Right now Fergie is busy recording an album and she knows Axl is in good hands with his dad. Josh wants his boy to have every educational advantage and he’s starting by taking “Daddy And Me” classes” together. The classes help the parents to bond with the children with games, songs and exercises. Axl is already very talkative and a fast learner.

David Miscavige Detective Father Scientology

POLICE REPORT: DAVID MISCAVIGE HAD HIS OWN FATHER SPIED UPON WHEN HE LEFT SCIENTOLOGY

Wow! The LA Times has a great Scientology scoop today. Police records show that Tom Cruise’s best friend David Miscavige had his OWN FATHER followed, spied upon, and planted a GPS unit in his car for 18 months after his father split from Scientology. He was afraid his father would talk about the organization’s nefarious activities. The situation came to light when detectives hired by the church were arrested in Ronald Miscavige Sr’s neighborhood in Wisconsin – they were carrying numerous weapons, binoculars, computers, a GPS tracing device, etc. Eventually the detectives from Florida broke down and admitted they were hired for $10,000 a week by David Miscavige through another party. Here’s a SHOCKER: One day as they were watching the father load objects into his car, the 79 year old grabbed his chest and slumped over. Detectives didn’t know what to do and called their Florida contact and David himself called them back in person. He told them that if was Ron’s time to die, to let him die and don’t interfere. No surprise that Angelina and Brad didn’t tell her father Jon Voight about their marriage or invite him to the wedding. It has nothing to do with the on-again off-again estrangement between Jon and Angelina – it has to do with his BIG MOUTH! Jon can’t keep a secret and Angelina knows it. Jon’s blabbing to the press has raised Angelina’s hackles more than once. He just can’t resist chatting (and we love him for that, but Angie doesn’t.) Brad is happy that Angelina and her father do see each other occasionally now, and he visits the kids.

HEIDI FLEISS DEVASTATED AT FATHER’S WAKE

Dr Paul Fleiss’s wake was last Friday and according to a witness, the 80 year old pediatrician’s daughter Heidi Fleiss appeared emotionally devastated. The memorial for the popular doctor attracted an impressive crowd. (He delivered Madonna’s daughter Lourdes) Heidi bawled inconsolably through the entire service. Back in the 90’s, Heidi was distraught when her father was inadvertently pulled into her call girl scandal because he signed on his daughter’s mortgage. Heidi reportedly looked healthy and clearheaded in spite of her apparent distress.

Rihanna is obviously a “daddy’s girl.” Not only does she resemble her father Ronald Fenty, but she chose to spend time with him rather than attend the BET Awards. Clad in a Mexican soccer jacket, Rihanna and her dad met up with some other family members for dinner at Giorgio Baldi. After dinner she gave him a big hug before they went their separate ways.

Charlize was watching when her mother Gerda shot him dead in self defense. Ironically, Sean Penn shares some of her father’s unpleasant traits. He’s a big drinker, and if you recall, he roughed up his then-wife Madonna during a Thanksgiving binge that ended their marriage. His second wife Robin Wright doesn’t have anything nice to say about him either. As for his TEMPER- he doesn’t keep that a secret. Many paparazzi are actually AFRAID of him. Hopefully Charlize will proceed with caution.

Robert De Niro has really come a long way – earlier in his career he was impossibly “private” and avoided calling attention to himself. He was known for barely speaking in interviews. In the last few years he’s become much more accessible and social. Now he’s produced a very personal documentary about his father, who was a respected artist. De Niro’s father left his mother when Bob was 3 – many years later he learned that his father left because he was gay. Father and son remained close until his father died in 1993. De Niro narrates the film which presents his father’s work as well as his struggle with the realization he was gay in an unforgiving era. The movie, “Remembering The Artist Robert De Niro Sr,” is scheduled to air on HBO this summer.

The Michael Jackson wrongful death trial now going on has reignited all the rumors about who the biological father of Michael’s kids is. Former child star Mark Lester (“Oliver”) was one of Michael’s friends who donated sperm when Michael asked for it and he thinks HE is their father. Other potential “fathers” include Marlon Brando and Macaulay Culkin, and our pick, Dr Arnie Klein. There may be more donors out there who won’t talk about it. Michael figured with so many possibilities no one would ever figure out who the real father is. We wonder if someday his kids will demand DNA tests to clear this up.
