ANGELINA JOLIE JUST WANTS TO BE APPRECIATED

Angelina Jolie is NOT happy that her reputation is suffering due to her prolonged and unpleasant divorce from Brad Pitt. She knows that her custody battle with Brad is making her look less sympathetic, and she feels compelled to stir up GOOD publicity for herself. When she’s not being photographed having fun with her children, she is busy promoting herself as a humanitarian. She made an appearance at a London film festival aiming to use the power of film to prevent sexual violence during conflict (in third world countries.) Makes us wonder: do these savage warriors go to the movies?

Apparently divorcing Channing Tatum after 9 years of marriage was the right thing to do. The World of Dance host has a thriving career and a new man already. Jenna’s new guy is Shameless actor Steve Kazee and – no surprise- he loves to dance with Jenna. (Finding a guy who enjoys dancing is essential for her.) Meanwhile, Channing is keeping company with Jenna lookalike Jessie J, and he brought his beefcake Magic Mike show to the Hippodrome Casino in London.

JOHNNY DEPP WANTS TO CLEAN UP HIS IMAGE

Johnny Depp is in Switzerland promoting his new film Richard Says Goodbye (destined for VOD) and he’s not happy about the reputation his ex-wife Amber Heard has given him. Ironically, the movie has been described as “romanticizing macho male dysfunction“ and Johnny plays a disreputable professor. Depp desperately wants to clean up the image Amber Heard gave him when she accused him of alcohol abuse and a violent temper. They are both going back to court because Depp intends to prove she faked abuse allegations against him – does he really want to open that can of worms again?

Certainly Brad Pitt must be reflecting on the enormous difference between his two divorces. When Jennifer Aniston decided to call their marriage off, it was a character-revealing episode. There were no embarrassing accusations made against Brad, and there was no bickering over possessions or money. It was a swift and quiet legal maneuver with no negative repercussions. Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, humiliated Brad with deliberately leaked shocking allegations right away, and never stopped disputing custody and financial issues, extending the negotiations over two expensive years – so far. Through it all, Brad has never said a word about Angelina.

There’s one person who can’t help being happy about Angelina Jolie’s split with Brad Pitt and THAT is Ray Donovan star Jon Voight. Now that Angelina has lost her best and perhaps ONLY friend (Brad) she is forced to turn to her relatives for help. Her brother James Haven moved in with her and helps coordinate things with the kids and their nannies. Now that she’s living in LA, Angelina has allowed her somewhat estranged father Jon Voight back into her life. (We’re guessing that it helps that he’s now on a hot TV show.) The first thing that caught our eye in this photo is Andrew Dice Clay’s companion’s adorable handbag. We are SO tired of celebrities flaunting those dead serious and absurdly expensive designer bags. It turns out the Dice man’s “companion” is his ex-wife turned girlfriend Valerie Vasquez. Clay, 59, met the makeup artist eight years ago – they got married for four years, and then got a divorce “to save their relationship.” (“Too much pressure!”) They’ve been inseparable ever since, and Dice insists “we’re made for each other,” despite the fact that Valerie is 25 years younger.
