MIRA SORVINO AND CHRIS BACKUS ARE STILL A GOOD MATCH

We’ve been fans of Mira Sorvino ever since “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion” so it was nice to see her turn up at the premier of “Shutter Island” in New York. Despite all odds, she and her younger husband, actor Chris Backus, have been successfully married for six years and have two children. They look close in age, but Mira is 42 and Chris is 28 – around the same age difference as Simon Cowell and his fiancee.
