The fact that Amanda Knox was set free ALMOST renews our faith in Italian justice, but many doubts remain. Italians are not as sophisticated as they want us to think – Amanda was reviled because she seemed to be a sexually active, cute college student. That earned her a longer sentence than either of the two men also convicted. Amanda and her boyfriend had NO motive for killing her roommate. It looks like the 3rd man, Rudy Guede, who’s DNA was all over the victim, and a friend went to visit the victim hoping for three way sex, and when it didn’t happen, they killed her. He is serving 16 years. After four years, Amanda deserves an apology from Italy for losing some of the best years of her life.

Amanda soon after the murder implicated a bar owner and said,”I covered my ears to muffle the screams while she was being killed”. She was at the apartment when that girl was murdered.I’m not saying she participated, but she was there.

she was a young girl in very bizarre circumstances. yes, her false accusations were terrible, but that doesn’t mean she killed meredith. i hope everyone leaves the girl alone now, and lets her live a normal life.

The Italian authorities kept Amanda awake for more than 36 hours with relentless questions and accusations. The Italians resorted to anything to get a “confession” even if it was false.
She may not have wielded the knife, but I think she was there. I don’t trust this girl at. all.

this is also a good lesson for young girls just leaving home for the first time — avoid drugs and promiscuity because, the old guilt by association, it could get you in a LOT of trouble. sadly, it’s a double standard. no one will ever know what really happened except amanda, meredith and the primary killer who is already in prison.

Yes, it is difficult to not have those thoughts (of getting even with someone) when we feel that a person got away with something like hurting or murdering someone. I understand that.
What if the person is really innocent and you’ve wished some type of torture on this person. Wouldn’t you feel bad? Shouldn’t you feel bad? I’m just asking.
All judical systems are flawed. Yes, there is some bad eggs in every party. Still, it isn’t totally bad. There is good within the system too.
I don’t think OJ is innocent. I never have but then again, he doesn’t have to answer to me. For those of you that believe in God (and that would be me), he will eventually be judged once and for all.
I’ve never thought for a minute that the Ramseys were guilty of any wrong doing with their daughter. There has been several top notch police investigators who have explained over and over that they do not think that the Ramseys were involved. It makes me sad to think that Patsy Ramsey left this world and didn’t know who murdered her little girl.

Amanda & her boyfriend were at his place smoking marijuana – they weren’t at her rental house with Meredith. They didn’t even know this guy Rudy. Meredith was stabbed 44 times – you would expect blood to be all over the house, Amanda’s clothes/shoes. NONE found. This Italian prosecutor has criminal complaints against him & he needs to be prosecuted for his stupidity. Italy – Americans love Italy – get your country in order and stop arresting and jailing innocent people. Amanda & her boyfriend are innocent – and yet, they spent 4 yrs in jail????? As far as Amanda implicating her former boss (if you were interrogated by 14 Italian investigators/police — who knows what they would force you to say). Plus – Amanda didn’t even speak Italian at the time. Thank G-d the Italian court came to its senses.
As a poster on another website said, a first-year American law student could have gotten Amanda acquitted the first time around. The evidence was so lame, it was pathetic. She had no reason whatsoever to kill anyone, and even if she was in the house when Meredith was being killed, what was she supposed to do, jump in and risk being stabbed to death herself? For no good reason? And why did she have zero blood on herself if SHE stabbed Meredith Kircher all those times? I think Amanda was a victim of her good looks and being an American in a foreign country. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that has ever happened, now would it?
The fact she purchased bleach and other cleaning apparatus the morning after the murder would suggest she was clever enough to clean herself properly and dispose of any clothing that had blood on it.

The guy sitting in jail who confessed is the one who killed Merdith Kircher. His DNA was not only IN Meredith, but all around her. Amanda’s DNA had every right to be in the house; good grief, the two girls were roommates!
