SURPRISE- KELLAN LUTZ IS THE BIGGEST EXPENDABLE

Nice to hear that Kellan Lutz is not “too cool for school” – he has a nice attitude about appearing in Expendables 3 as the “young guy.” Kellan, who gained fame as Robert Pattinson’s brother in the Twilight series, enjoyed every minute of filming with his own action heroes Sly Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Antonio Banderas, and Wesley Snipes. He said he loved being around the “legends” and watching them work. Lutz went on to say that his dream would be “to do it all the way up to Expendables 8,9,10 – I’d like to become the veteran Expendable.” (Above, note that Kellan, far right, is actually BIGGER than his older costars)

Jason Statham The Expendables Vinnie Jones

DON’T MESS WITH JASON STATHAM AND VINNIE JONES

We’re guessing that British tough guys Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones are often competing for the same roles. They’ve costarred as gangsters in two Guy Ritchie movies- “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,” and “Snatch.” The two actors actually grew up together and were both accomplished athletes. Maybe that’s why they sound a bit alike. Anyway, they are still friends and once joked about opening a Fish n’ Chips shop together in Los Angeles. (Above, they went out to dinner together after “The Expendables 3” premier)

EXPENDABELLES: CAN YOU IMAGINE THESE ROLES PLAYED BY WOMEN?

Here’s a disturbing thought. The producer of “The Expendables 3” is planning an all-female version of the action franchise called “The Expendabelles!” Sylvester Stallone loves the idea and a script is being fine-tuned for a shoot in early 2015. Sly’s number one choice for the all female spin-off is Sigourney Weaver – he wants her to play his on screen wife. Is Michelle Rodriguez to young for a part? Bad-ass women of a certain age in Hollywood will either embrace this opportunity (like the guys above did) or recoil in horror. Who would you cast?

Sylvester Stallone is puffing up with pride in his green velvet jacket because he’s surrounded by pretty females at the premier of The Expendables 3 in London – and they are all his! You can see the positive genetic influence his model wife Jennifer Flavin has had on their three daughters, Scarlet, Sophia, and Sistine. For awhile, it looked like Jennifer’s career selling her skincare line would eclipse Sly’s acting career – but he made a big comeback and couldn’t be happier.

Beard Cannes Mel Gibson Tape The Expendables

MEL GIBSON: NO LONGER THE SEXIEST MAN ALIVE

Mel Gibson,58, has done a great job of disguising himself. He showed up in Cannes to promote his movie The Expendables 3 with this highly unattractive beard. Remember, Mel was once voted “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine and no one protested. His pretty face was the ticket to Mel’s success (who didn’t love Mad Max?) but now it’s totally and voluntarily covered. He’s about to start filming another move, Blood Father soon, and we bet the facial hair will be gone. He must be secretly thrilled by the Donald Sterling tape scandal, having barely survived his own tape scandal. Coincidentally, both Donald and Mel were taped by their girlfriends! At least Mel knows he’s not the only dumb guy in Hollywood.

SYLVESTER STALLONE WAS RIGHT ABOUT BRUCE WILLIS

Since when did The Hollywood Reporter get so gossipy? It’s great! Today they revealed WHY Sylvester Stallone called Bruce Willis “ungrateful and lazy” when he asked for too much money to appear in The Expendables 3. Willis had been offered 3 million dollars to reprise his role in the Expendables franchise for three days work. He actually demanded 4 MILLION DOLLARS FOR the 3 days work and Stallone and everyone else involved in the movie said NO. Harrison Ford immediately replaced Willis. Bruce Willis definitely IS expendable.

The Expendables 2 premiered in Paris and Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger both brought family members along to keep them company on the European tour. Arnold is still getting over his separation from Maria Shriver and Sly tragically lost his son Sage just last month. Arnold took his daughter Katherine shopping at Cartier and Sly and his daughters Sistine and Scarlet visited a few shops along with mom Jennifer.

Jean-Claude Van Damme Sylvester Stallone The Expendables

JEAN CLAUDE VAN DAMME IS SORRY HE TURNED DOWN “THE EXPENDABLES”

Sylvester Stallone is riding high this week after his movie The Expendables cleaned up at the boxoffice. One guy not totally thrilled with Sly’s success is Jean-Claude Van Damme. Early on, Sly had invited Jean-Claude to join the cast but wouldn’t tell him much about the movie except it had lots of action, humor, and he thought it would be fun if Van Damme’s character would lose in a fight with Jet-Li. Van Damme didn’t see the humor in THAT, and passed on the movie. After it opened, Sly called Jean-Claude and smirked “I told you so.” Sly is already working on a sequal and plans on giving Van Damme another chance – if he loosens up.
