RIHANNA WANTS TO BE CLOSER TO BARBADOS

Rihanna is gearing up to make a major change in her life. Although she owns multiple properties in the Los Angeles area, Rihanna is now looking to uproot her family and relocate to Greenwich, Connecticut. According to my source, Rihanna’s been spending more and more time on the East Coast, but the deciding factor is that it’s five hours closer to her homeland of Barbados. Rihanna can get home in less than five hours via private jet from NYC, but it takes twice that amount of time from LA. Rihanna wants her children to grow up part of the time in Barbados, and part of the time of the USA. During her recent stay to New York she snuck away to nearby Greenwich, touring homes in the $25 million range.

Alec Baldwin Guilty Prison Real Estate

ALEC BALDWIN IS READY FOR ANYTHING

Alec Baldwin’s trial for involuntary manslaughter is slated to begin July 10, and according to an insider he and his wife Hilaria are already preparing for a worst case outcome if he’s found guilty and winds up in prison. Alec is facing 18-months in New Mexico State prison so he and Hilaria are already looking at compounds to lease if he ends up behind bars. My source reveals that their doomsday plan is for Hilaria to move their 7 kids to a mansion in Santa Fe, NM, so they’ll be able to visit Alec if he’s locked up. While Alec is confident he’ll be acquitted, he and Hilaria are practical enough to be prepared.

ARE SCIENTOLOGISTS MESSING WITH LEAH REMINI AGAIN?

We previously told you that Leah Remini was having a hard time unloading her Studio City home (which has been on the market for over a year) and that she SUSPECTS her former friends at Scientology are somehow involved. To refresh your memory, Leah keeps getting offers and entered escrow several times, but for one reason or another, the buyers backed out. Here’s an interesting update. Our well placed real estate source told me the home recently fell out of escrow yet AGAIN, so this time around Leah hired a private investigator to see if her hunch is correct. If she gets the proof that Scientology is behind these antics, my source says Leah will sue for damages. We’d like to see her WIN bigtime…

Even though they’re both Brits, new parents Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse are putting down roots – in the San Fernando Valley! According to my real estate source, the Twilight actor and the singer/model have been touring homes in Studio City, California, specifically those that are in the Carpenter school district. Robert and Suki are big advocates of public schools, and want their child to eventually attend the Carpenter school in Studio City, which is one of the top rated public schools in the state – so that explains why they’re focusing their search in the somewhat unlikely area.

Well now it turns out the Real Housewife of Orange County and her Botched doctor husband have NO plans to leave Orange County, like everyone assumes. The couple purchased the LA penthouse as part of a 1031 exchange, a tax code that lowers ones taxes after selling a property if another property is purchased within a short amount of time. It’s just an investment. Heather and Terry have been trying to lease their LA penthouse for $75,000 a month,(see link below) and they are leasing a house in OC until they find a home they want to buy.

Is Matthew Perry’s former Century City condo cursed? In his autobiography, Friends, Lovers and The Big Terrible Thing, the late actor wrote about some DARK times in his penthouse condominium at The Century, one of the premier full service buildings in LA. Matthew eventually sold the condo to a tech billionaire, but the guy barely moved in before deciding it wasn’t for him, so he sold it to Rihanna for a loss. Now superstitious Rihanna isn’t sure SHE wants to move into the sprawling condominium, given the Matthew connection, so she’s thinking of selling it and might even have to take a loss. Even though he died elsewhere, the condo has a negative vibe since Matthew wrote about how unhappy he was there.

BRITNEY SPEARS: NO MORE VALLEY GIRL?

Now that’s she NOT under a conservatorship, Britney Spears is free to do whatever she wants and live wherever she wants. According to a friend, Britney is ready to move out of her sprawling home in the Los Angeles Valley for the convenience of luxury hotel living. Britney likes her home, but she finds the upkeep overwhelming, and not very relaxing with the constant buzz of gardeners, handymen, security, housekeepers, and pool maintenance people every day. Recently she started very discreetly looking at condos in full service buildings. Britney likes the idea of a condo connected to a fancy hotel like The Four Seasons with room service and other amenities. Plus now that she’s SINGLE, she feels she’ll have more of a social life and meet more single men living in Beverly Hills, as opposed to the suburbs.
