RILEY KEOUGH GOT MARRIED WITHOUT THE INTRUSION OF SCIENTOLOGY

Mad Max: Fury Road star and more importantly, Elvis’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, enjoyed good timing with her wedding this week. She had a normal, non-Scientology wedding! This wouldn’t have been possible a few years back because her mother was a strident Scientologist. Lisa Marie moved to England a few years ago where she came to her senses and dropped out of Scientology. Riley met her stuntman groom, Ben Smith-Peterson, when she filmed Mad Max a few years ago. This guy must feel like he hit the lottery.

Amber Heard Johnny Depp Married

JOHNNY DEPP: WHY THE RUSH TO GET MARRIED?

Why did Johnny Depp do an about face on the subject of marriage and marry Amber Heard in a quickie ceremony at his home yesterday? Keep in mind Johnny was never inclined to marry the mother of his two children, Vanessa Paradis, in their 14 years together. He felt their love was enough and legal documents were not necessary. We’re thinking the 51 year old actor is not as confident as he used to be, and was afraid 26 year old Amber might lose interest. She does seem to have a mind of her own, and what Amber wants, Amber gets.

JEFF GOLDBLUM MARRIED HIS CONTORTIONIST GIRLFRIEND

“Grand Budapest Hotel” star Jeff Goldblum, 62, has had plenty of young girlfriends over the years, but this time he got serious. Jeff and his girlfriend of three years, Emilie Livingston, just got married at the Chateau Marmont, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Emilie is 31 and calls herself an “actress, dancer, Olympic gymnast and contortionist.“ At least we know she’s flexible. This is Jeff’s third marriage.

Wow. Opposites DO attract! ”The Nanny,” Fran Drescher, just married an Indian-American genius who invented email when he was still in high school! The massively educated scientist Shiva Ayyadural and our little Fran tied the knot this weekend after a year of togetherness. Fran divorced her first husband Peter Jacobson in 1999 after he declared he was gay, but they remain best friends. Fran, 56, learns something new every day from her brainy husband, and Shiva, 50, says she makes him laugh every day. Nice combination. Fran posted this photo to announce the news.

ASHLEE SIMPSON HAS A NEW MOTHER-IN-LAW

Evan Ross, 26, says that he knew Ashlee Simpson, 29, was THE ONE four months after they met. He proposed in January and they tied the knot this weekend at Evan’s mother Diana Ross’s estate in Greenwich, Connecticut. Which is a little odd, because most of their friends are on the West Coast. But Ashlee’s sister Jessica was maid of honor and her kids were in the wedding too. Can you imagine having Diana Ross for a mother-in-law?

REALITY STAR LA TOYA JACKSON IS STRETCHING THE TRUTH FOR RATINGS

Last December, rumors started circulating that La Toya Jackson was getting or already was, married to her manager Jeffre Phillips. She quickly denied the stories and now we know WHY. Because she wanted to keep the news a surprise for her OWN reality series “Life with La Toya!” No WAY was LaToya going to THINK about marriage unless she got ratings doing it on her show! Back when she was taping the show, someone from OWN, or maybe a stray camera assistant, must have leaked something about her “marriage.” Now she’s bragging that she wants a wedding bigger than Kim and Kanye’s. We suspect she might already be married to Jeffre, and is just stretching things out for publicity.

Kimora’s exhusband Russell Simmons, who is the father of two of her three children, has a big mouth – and we love him for that. Russell broke the news that Kimora is NOT dating a Russian businessman, as rumored, but she is, in fact, MARRIED to investment banker Tim Leissner! Cher Elijah Blue Married

CHER’S SON ELIJAH WANTS A REALITY SHOW OF HIS OWN

Life with Cher can’t be easy. Both of her kids, Elijah, 37, and Chaz, 44, have had serious rifts with her, but usually patched things up. Elijah has always been the one who kept to himself, but now he’s TALKING. He admitted that he had a heroin problem in the past. He and his girlfriend Angie were living with Cher at her Malibu house for quite awhile but he moved out in October after they had an argument. (He met Angie, 26, when he was in Germany being treated for Lyme disease and she was in a band.) It seems Cher didn’t get along with Angie and two months after they moved out, Elijah and Angie got married and Cher stayed away. Cher and Elijah haven’t spoken for months and she never acknowledged his marriage. Why is he spilling the beans now? Elijah wants a reality show! He wants a show documenting him while he refurbishes his ordinary house into a medieval dwelling. LATOYA JACKSON HAS A NEW HUSBAND!

We always wondered about LaToya’s constant companion Jeffre Phillips. Wherever she goes, he’s usually a discreet few steps behind her so as not to hog the camera. (To be honest, we thought he might be a gay best friend) They’ve been together for years – he seemed to be more than a friend – more like a business partner or manager. Well, it turns out he’s even more than THAT. We heard that LaToya has now MARRIED Jeffre, and she is now Mrs Phillips! So there.
