CRYBABY KATE MOSS SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN SHE’S HAD A CHARMED LIFE

Kate Moss, 38, did an awful lot of complaining in her interview with Vanity Fair. She made it sound like being a supermodel is a huge headache and the job is almost unbearable. Considering she’s a petite 5’7” and managed to make it to the top of the modeling biz, one would think she’d be surprised and delighted. She seems to remember the physically trying times but not the enormous paychecks and perks. She also dismisses her party reputation and insists she really didn’t have all that much fun. When Kate was with Johnny Depp they seemed to be really in love (and got engaged) but she brought out a temperamental side to him and he trashed a NY hotel room. It was out of character for him. It seemed to be a passionate, drug fueled romance. Kate doesn’t say WHY she left Johnny but admits she cried over him for six years. She really doesn’t seem like a happy girl – and she SHOULD be. What a life she’s had!

JOHNNY DEPP WOULD LOVE TO STAR IN BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN’S LIFE STORY

Rumor has it that Johnny Depp recently approached Bruce Springsteen about starring In a movie about the singer’s life but Bruce turned him down flat. Bruce and Johnny are friendly and have hung out together – including after The Grammys last February, so we’ve been trying to figure out why Bruce, 63, wouldn’t be at least a LITTLE tantalized by the idea. Springsteen’s image as a working-class hero emerging in the early 80’s would certainly be appealing movie material and Johnny IS a frustrated rock star. But maybe Johnny, at 49, is a bit old to play the intense young Bruce. Or maybe Bruce is in no hurry to see his life onscreen. James Franco has also been suggested to play Bruce if indeed a movie biography gets made.

We admit we have mixed feelings about the new Lone Ranger movie starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. First of all, it’s produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and that means nonstop mind-bending action. Originally Johnny was asked to play the Lone Ranger and that suited us fine. But he insisted on playing Tonto and that’s where we have a problem. We’d love to see a real Native American play the handsome Tonto – those moccasins are hard to fill. Johnny looks like he might be hamming it up. Johnny Depp is redeeming himself in the eyes of his fans by being generous to his exgirlfriend Vanessa Paradis and buying her and their children a house in Los Angeles. The 4.4 million dollar Mulholland Drive mansion has 5,800 sq ft and all the frills including a pool. Johnny, who seems not as enchanted by France as he once was, owned a mansion above Sunset Strip for years before he started a family. It’s likely he’s found another hillside place for himself, not far from his kids Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9. He’s been seen several times on Sunset – occasionally jamming with bands at clubs, and not long ago at Pink Taco.

It’s been awhile, but Johnny Depp finally went back to his home in France. The visit started rumors of a reconciliation with his partner Vanessa Paradis but that would be presumptuous. Johnny has recently been linked with his 26 year old Rum Diary costar Amber Heard because she’s been visiting him on the Mexico set of his movie “The Lone Ranger.” Lately, it’s said they have taken “a break” from each other. Insiders feel it’s improbable that Johnny will get back together with Vanessa, and most likely he’s spending time at home with his children Jack, 10, and Lily, 13. Johnny and Vanessa remain cordial for the sake of the kids.

This is the photo that launched all the rumors that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis had gone their separate ways. Johnny was photographed last year kissing his publicist Robin Baum on the lips and the pair seemed very chummy. Keep in mind, Robin had been traveling with Johnny on all his movie promotion tours and appearances world wide. Vanessa had stopped appearing at red carpet events with Johnny and vice versa. Robin’s job kept her very close to Johnny so it was easy to cover up a romance. Robin in said to be in her late 30’s, divorced, and mother of two. She is also rumored to have been romantically involved with her former client Stephen Dorff. So how WEIRD is it that ROBIN is the spokesperson who today announced that Johnny and Vanessa ARE split up after all?

Johnny Depp turned up at the Dark Shadows premier solo and looking a bit cleaner and better put together than usual. He and his buddy Tim Burton try to outdo each other looking as gross and peculiar as possible at times. Johnny’s a typical musician – he admits he NEVER dances “unless it’s choreographed in a movie.” Too bad. But it’s rumored that he will be playing music again at The Mint in LA within the next few weeks, – and (bigger rumor) – he MIGHT be joined by Keith Richards.

Now that he’s single for the first time in almost 20 years, Johnny Depp is reliving his rockstar youth in Hollywood. He was a starving musician in Los Angeles before he became an actor. Recently Johnny moved back to the USA because France wanted to start taxing him and his relationship with Vanessa Paradis fizzled out. Since he got back he’s been popping up all over town at clubs like The Mint, totally into playing either guitar or drums. Most recently he jammed with his old buddy Marilyn Manson. He always appears unannounced and it causes considerable excitement among female audience members, even in this jaded town.
