Supergirl star Calista Flockhart and her grandfather are touring Spain this week. Oops! Upon closer inspection that older gentleman appears to be Calista’s husband Harrison Ford! It’s amazing what a beard can do to ruin a perfectly good looking man’s looks. And a white bead is the worst of all! On the bright side, Harrison probably won’t be recognized by anyone – and women are not likely to give him the eye. But it is a shame…

This is Tom Neuwirth in character as his drag persona Conchita Wurst. Austrian singer Wurst won the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen (whatever that is) so he’s currently enjoying notoriety in Europe. He says he is a gay man – not a transgender. Sorry, but the makeup and women’s clothes combined with the beard gives us the creeps. Can’t help it. What do you think?

Who can explain this wad of hair on John Travolta’s chin? It was incorrectly identified as a “soul patch” but in fact that term describes a thatch of facial hair right under the lower lip. This chin decoration is some form of a mini-goatee. Maybe John uses it as a distraction – to pull the eye away from his hairline in the unforgiving bright sunshine in Cannes. Kelly Preston is rocking quite a wad of diamonds – and we bet she earned every one of them. (We love to poke fun at John, but we have to admit we actually like him!)

It looks like Michael Jackson was a pioneer in a peculiar form of plastic surgery and now it’s caught on with all kinds of men! We’re talking about beard transplants! When he was younger and dreamed of looking like Diana Ross, Michael had electrolysis on his face to remove whiskers. Later in life, he yearned for that George Clooney “five o’clock shadow” and he actually had hair transplanted to his face. We were both shocked and revolted, but now the surgery has caught on among guys who want to fill in gaps and create designer stubble. Page Six says it’s all the rage among Brooklyn hipsters these days. Can beard weaves be far behind?
Clive Owen is filming “The Killer Elite” with Jason Statham in Australia and we hope he doesn’t have this facial hair through the entire movie. He looks more geeky than sexy. It’s a buddy movie about two guys who were in Britain’s special forces together, and they find members of the team they worked with being hunted down and killed one by one. The two hot leading men almost make it worth it to put up with all those stunts and car chases.
Take a very close look and see if you can figure out WHO this heart throb actor is. He DOES look familiar, doesn’t he? Clue: he has a famous blonde wife. Another clue: Madonna once had a huge crush on him. If you guessed Antonio Banderas, you are right. We don’t think the gray beard is a good career move.

He has a normal haircut and a crazy looking beard. What role could require Brad to raise this awful facial hair?
