Heidi Klum, 41, is becoming a fixture in the art world. Fresh from signing her final divorce papers, Heidi and her boyfriend, art dealer Vito Schnabel, 28, have been turning up at the major art events in the world. They arrived promptly on the first day of the FIAC (contemporary art fair) at the Grand Palais, which is the main gallery base. The show is spread over several city locations and many art events are planned for the week. Their relationship is going surprisingly well, and Vito has brought Heidi to many important art events over the past year.

SOMEBODY started a silly rumor that singles Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock are about to be fixed up because “they’d make a great match.” First of all, and most important, Sandra Bullock is not a Scientologist and would never become one. She’s too smart. And being smart is NOT a requirement for Tom – he prefers malleable, very young women, who will admire him and hang on his every word. Sandra would NOT fit into Tom’s lifestyle- she has her own very successful career, so she couldn’t be at his beck and call. Plus, she has a young child and his education to think about. She wouldn’t pick up and move easily. Tom is a likeable guy, but he always has that black cloud of Scientology hanging over his head.

Here in LA, we don’t get to see Matt Lauer and his wife Annette very often, but against all odds, they are still together after 16 years, and look content. Tabloids have often accused Matt of cheating, and in 2006 when Annette was pregnant with their third child, she actually filed for divorce and then changed her mind. There were more cheating accusations during the Winter Olympics but the marriage weathered the storm once again. And here they are at the posh Hamptons Classic Horse Show in Bridgehampton.

Ireland DOES seem happier with Angel than she was with her last boyfriend, surfer Slater Trout. Her parents, Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin have been conspicuously silent about their daughter’s relationship. It’s probably for the best – Alec has a habit of throwing around gay insults when he loses his temper.

For a short time he and Meg were apart, but he broke down and paid her a visit. You can bet Meg won’t be moving to Indiana- both her kids go to school in New York. So it remains a long distance romance.
